MADE IN THE PHILIPPINES 2025

It is all about business, trade, deficits, loans and debt traps that imperialism can thrive in this sphere of globalism that China is portraying as a better alternative of conquering the world without guns but gain more money.

As the world does not know, China is employing a strategy of global trade to become a superpower and replace the position of the United States as the dominant power in the world.

BRI is masking for openness in trade by bringing in infrastructure for the world and use it as a platform to conduct further commerce with its unprepared rivals.

Many fear the Made in China 2025 for it will be the turning point where she can be of advanced in technology for manufacturing.

Of course, upon riping of technology for China, there will be better, more efficient, productive and speed production for China and may defeat squarely any nation in the conduct of trade.

Once deficits and more deficits are incurred by a country against China, coupled by loans and default payments, Chinas will harvest more that country into its submission and acquire natural resources it may need for her consumption leaving those nations bleed.

It is happening now, China has practically obliterated Djibouti, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Pakistan, and others into debt traps that might suddenly demand loans payments of its sovereignty and natural resources.

This is a danger for the Philippines who is entertaining China's offers of infrastructures and loans which seemingly will come as a case of other countries now suffering bad loans.

Made in the Philippines is just a matter of likeness that our leaders and elected ones should set goals for industrializing the country and setting the manufacturing sector advanced today.

We need to look that our GDP is only about 300 billion UDS against China's  12.24 trillion USD. We should attain a trillion dollar economy so as to be able to defend ourself=ves with the bullies of China in the South China Sea and stop the deficits of the country.

Manufacturing is the hope of this country to defend us in deficits and BOPs of the country that our leaders should address this situation.

The 300 billion USD GDP pales in comparison with China's 12 trillion, and we are just sitting idly not doing anything about our trade, exports, and investments.

Our local capitals are even at risk by the mounting regulations on businesses that put friction to the growth and acceleration of the economy.

We even lose the view of encouraging micro businesses and self-employment of our people in the midst of unemployment for the sake of securing the economy and bracing its condition .

We should have this ambition of made in the Philippines just like China is doing today. We should prepare hard to engage highly in manufacturing, factories, trade, and eXports that will drive exponentially our economy.

ECONOMIC SECURITY IS NATIONAL SECURITY

Economic Security is National Security and this must be the thrust of the government to lead the country and secure the future of a generation of Filipinos.

The situation of having economic security is to incur less dependence of the country from foreign sources of finances that is risky to the sovereignty of the country.

That there is an alternative way to create that independence mostly in the case that with China where we are confronted with the problem in the West Philippine sea versus the nine-dash line that is now the problem.

The continuing presence and occupation of China should be legally stopped with the assistance of the international community upon our winning in the Hague Tribunal ruling.

We can bring the matter to other and  new levels and secure support and assistance from everyone and help us make Beijing avow to that international accord.

After the Hague ruling, our government has stopped asserting more the potential of the decision for our own advantage, yet our new government sidelined the ruling and held a different and opposite stance with China.

We have not tested the efficiency and the force of the said ruling, but instead, we kept it behind and lure China more in the opposite manner.

Economic Secuiriy is national Security in partcular the West Philippine Sea where China has been agressively owning chunks of the EEZa territory of the country. We can defend the territorial dispute of the country if we'll develop our economy and secure  economically to build our own military just what China did since it started opening their economy to the world.

Internally, we can do some actions that will pursue our national interests in the West Philippine Sea dispute that is by making our economy in the background and actively operate our capacity of manufacturing and defeat China in this way.

At the moment we should suspend some negative factors in our laws initiate some enactments and measures to support and favor investments, businesses, and manufacturing in the country.

We should be able to offer to foreign investors on what China and other countries can give, and do the same to foreign firms in order to make investments in our country., and we should make studies and resolutions just to keep that happen.

We should learn that without economic security there is no national security that is now happening in the South China Sea. We are practically hopeless for our defense because we have nothing o fight back economically against China.

With enough economic security we will be able to build our own military by the revenues and dollars we incur from that positive results and we can fight back China for our rights int he West Philippine Sea.
The Hague ruling for the Philippines is our very own ticket to demand our rights from any foreign power. Practicallythe new government  did nothing to venture on the potentioal of the ruling the next level of forums which the country can get international support. There are plenty of venues and means for us to rally and seek international assistance to make this ruling  be avowed by China. We cannot be a good force in the international community if we fail to pursue said decision and stay amenable to the baseless assertion of China.

To have economic Security is tho have robust and conclusive manufacturing in the country. Without that manufacturing at par with the size of China, there is no means that we can have the security we wanted.

But the manufacturing sector cannot come without the overnment's initiative and leadership for the private sector. Naturally at this stage, and at this generation, there is tremendous difficulty to make startups for the manufacturing sector in automotive, cars and trucks manufacturing and all other stuffs that require high technology products to produce tht only foreign comapnies can provide that transfer of technology.

Knowing these problems, there are numerous  and radical changes for the government to pt up for the needed infrasturcture of manufacturing, that their environemnt and ecosystems should be guaranteed survival byth government.

At recent, we don't see any care or action by the government to pursue any of these objectives for economic security seen at the momutent, b u ominos are  all about political carrers and security of the elected.

DEFEATING CHINA

This is how we defeat China, not militarily but by trade with the help of many nations and avert the third world war.

THE US MARKET

The US is the biggest market of China's goods, and by knowing that, the US can easily be the factor to kill China's economy by shutting its door from Chinese products.

In a sample scenario, if the US is shunned by Chinese goods, there will be terrible loss and poverty of China who exports a little 500 billion USD to the US markets, and this can be done with absolute certainty.

To realize this, something must be done to outdo China's exports to tUnitedted States, or countries can replace China's position for that matter.

At this instance, the Philippines can be one of those countries that can replace China's exports to the US. By his thinking, there is a possibility that this scenario can happen for the country to replace China's position in exports.

This case must prepare the Philippines to become that producer of products to the United States if we are willing to take this option.

This replacement of China is a way to defeat them. It will take us to open our industries, investment areas in equal terms with what China offers,  or more possibly build unlimited manufacturing in the goals of fighting them by trade to the US. Is it impossible? iT IS NOT.

If we are that serious to defeat China, we can beat them in trade, and it is better that we should start our preparations at this early.

THE PHILIPPINE EXPORTS

This is just a simple feasibility on fighting China not by war but by trade. We are going to prepare the country to engulf all major industries all over the world and make the country the export capital.

We cannot be the world's factory and export capital if we are not going to prepare the foundations of people, government, policies, the liberalism of trade, labor, land, logistics, and much more the conditions of the country to receive investments, capitals, resources to march the country into a level of manufacturing and industrialization under the sponsorship of foreign investments economy.

THE SOUTH CHINA SEA

We can not fight in arms with China for our rights of or EEZ in the south China sea, but e can fight them thru the muscle of manufacturing and exports. Added also our legal power to send them to the international forums to avow by the accords they have signed and make them respect it.

COUNTRIES SHOULD BE SCARED OF THE BRI

Countries must be scared by the BELT ROAD INITIATIVE of China that even before its operation, many countries had already felt the destruction to its economies before the said project begins.

The over 70 countries membered to it shall be scared at this moment, as said trade openness being sung by China, the opposite is happening otherwise.

COUNTRIES COMPLAIN

So many countries had already discovered the hidden interests and agenda of China in BRI. Countries like Sri Lanka, Djibouti, Laos, Malaysia, Pakistan, Montenegro, Cambodia, and many others had felt the unfair treatment of trade and relations with China over the years since the inception of the BRI idea.

Debt Trap Diplomacy

It is very clear that China is engaged in a practice of debt trap diplomacy, targetting small economies that have no capability of paying back the loans with exorbitant rates and harsh terms and conditions that would eventually take equity upon default or failure payback.

The Philippines is already entering this debt trap of China under the leadership of the current president, and this is a matter of national concern and national security that must be addressed and studied by the government. The same that recently, offers of Chinese loans are saddled with expensive rates, with strings attached of natural resources as targets once loan defaults take place.

TRUTH OF THE BRI

Once BRI becomes fully operational, China is the biggest economy in the world, and its manufacturing and exports economy will easily kill smaller economies in is game of international trade, it is seemingly a fight of David and Goliath.

LIke the Philippines, we have not shored our manufacturing industries, and we are not an export economy, and by this condition, we are at a disadvantaged position just like everyone in the ASEAN region.

OUR MANUFACTURiNG

There is no means but to modernize, improve our manufacturing sector to combat the onslaught Chines goods flooding the country. We should abate the deficits of this country that is draining our USD reserves. We should always be mindful of trade deficits that are killing our economy.

US and JAPAN Partnership for global Military alliance

The situation given for Japan's recent improvement and modernization of its military is not it's own making, it is of its environment of political and security reasons posed before them.

With recent upgrading, acquisition of new F-35B aircraft from the US, and retrofitting its naval and other military equipment, machines, they deem necessary at the moment is regarded not of their own but by the circumstances around them.

The current position of their military condition may not be the same as before but by new standards, the world is posing upon them.

CHINA AS THREAT

China is a threat in the South China Sea and almost around the world today. The current build-up and modernization of China is a matter of concern not only for Japan but for the whole world.

China had started trouble in the South China Sea by constructing and occupying man-made islands and installing military forces there. They have broken their promise of no militarizing the seas, but of no avail that today they ad installed al hat is necessary for their military advancements.

CHINA IS AN ECONOMIC THREAT

China has major plans of conquering nations into their submissions economically. They are using trade, loans, infrastructures, cooperations, openness, win-win solutions, Belt Road Initiative,s amongst tools to conquer foreign economies and eventually political submissions can become the equity of these debt-laden nations.

With these tools of using trade as weapons, there is a high threat that China is posing for the world as Japan, the US, Australia, EU, and the rest are wary about these movements of China  to dominate all and become the world's superpower.

THE PHILIPPINES

OUr country should be aware of these things about the course of the future entailed by China. We are economically weak and the solution to it is to activate our trade, manufacturing into such a level that would create surplus for our economy.

Economic Security is National Security

We should be focused on driving the economy of the country into a level where there will be a generation of wealth, funds for the government and be able to spend them for our national security needs.

Let us liberalize capitalism and reduce regulations, cut taxes, and multiply or GDP. That way we can counter the threat ofChina to our economy and sovereignty.

STOP CHINA DEBT TRAP

Chinese loans are global imperialism of China, that slowly many countries are trapped to become slaves of their interests and foreign policies.

In many examples of Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, Montenegro, Djibouti, and many others, are proofs that the Philippines should be careful with accepting Chinese loans and infrastructure projects with terms very disadvantageous to the country.

While it is of very expensive interest rates, we still welcome and embrace these loans so very prejudicial to our interests national security.

While Japan and other countries offer very low rates, this government still persist to take the loans without thinking of the consequences of the future and our ability to payback.

BOT

While previous administrations had been keen on the Built Operate Transfer (BOT)  projects mode of acquiring infrastructure for the country, regarded as safe and avoiding more foreign loans, it is most ideal to maintain at this venture that this current administration should stay.

LOAN OBLIGATIONS AND DEFICITS

We are already in huge foreign loan obligations in deficits recently, and the government approach with China is for more deficits of our foreign debt service problems.

We should depart from taking more foreign loans to stay financially stable and economically sound for the security of our future.

INDUSTRIALIzATION OF OUR ECONOMY

Industrialization of the economy is the only way to secure our future and defend our sovereign territory by modernizing our military through economic security.

UNDERWATER BASE AND NATIONAL SECURITY

Let's think of our national security before giving to China this proposed underwater observatory, as we don't know the reality and implications of these Chinese propositions in our own territory.

Our national security must not be at stake at this recent projects in the disguise of scientific research.

The question of our Exclusive Economic Zone rendered by the Hague ruling must be reserved exclusively for the benefit and enjoyment of the country alone.

Thus this scientific observatory is nonetheless a kind of a joke for the  Philippines and so much risk for the country hat this labs undersea will turn out to be for the damage of the country.

It is not good for the country to engage in such partnership with China where our country does not the resources to maintain and secure our interest once said laboratory becomes operational.

We should maintain the status quo of the country's sovereignty.

MANILA TRENCH

When locations of the said underwater base are the Manila TRench, the matter becomes different because it is of Philippine's sovereign areas. That even in the south China sea disputed areas, it still becomes disadvantageous and detrimental for our national security.

INDUSTRIALIZATION OF THE ECONOMY

To fight China, we should industrialize the economy of the country and attain government revenues that will render us funds to modernize our navy and the armed forces.

By having satisfactory manufacturing, exports, reducing trade deficits everywhere, we will have more savings for our USD reserves and therefore, the country will have the finances and resources to modernize the military.

There is no means but tot create an environment of technology and entrepreneurship in the country and make every product, items all dollar earners.

UNFAIR JOINT OIL EXPLORATION

It is not yet confirmed as the MOU agreement is not yet available for the public, and its contents are yet determined as of recent, only partial issuances of the DOE on the 14 predetermined areas of joint oil explorations covered by China and the Philippines are known and not within the disputed areas of the two countries.

Let's be clear. The MOU of China and the Philippines is not in the disputed waters of the West Philippine Sea, it is in the territorial domain of the Philippines, therefore it is just right to beg this question that it is not entitled or subject to a joint exploration as this case may be, why?

Philippine Territory, not disputed.

When the subject oil exploration is the territory of the Philippines, there is no reason to drag China as a state party to any joint exploration, it is certainly our sole oil exploration and China is categorically an investor by this situation.

The matter is different when the exploration that was conducted in the SC 72  before in the Reed Bank where this questionable nine-dash line was laid, though never valid, is the most approximate understanding of any joint oil exploration.

While as stated by the DOE, the joint oil exploration is by the side of the nine-dash line of China, very well considered outside of its claims called as the 14 predetermined areas are notable that China has no business in any of these areas.

There must be no joint exploration categorically.  It must not, as China could be one of any other international investor offering investments thereto, prompting than that there is no such thing as a joint oil exploration inside the country for China, for her category then is an investor.

In this situation, China is viewed and treated as an interested investor only and there is no agreement to sign on. She may fall in line like everyone else.

NINE DASH LINE

In taking into context the nine-dash line in the MOU of Beijing and Manila, it is assuming then that we are recognizing this territorial line of China which was belied by the Permanent Court in Hague. We should not have made any mention of a said nine-dash line of whatsoever in said MOU because it becomes critical then for the country to be prejudiced by such term.

DISCARD THE JOINT AGREEMENT

We can discard the joint agreement under the context that the 14 predetermined areas of exploration are well inside the Philippine territory, we should rid of the MOU as a joint exploration. We should be specific than that it is not a joint endeavor.

At this point its viewed by constitutional experts that said joint oil exploration of the Philippines with China is unconstitutional. There this needed to be established by the supreme court, or Congress should affirm this fact, that if , said agreement must be discarded then.

PHILIPPINE TRADE WAR WITH THE WORLD

The US and China trade war is just a lesson for our leaders to learn the significance of trade for alleviating the conditions of our people out from poverty.

This trade war is everywhere in the international news, and it is believed that only a portion of our people is knowledgeable about this issue or many of us  may not have the understanding about it.

We have our own trade war ever since, and we have lost to it due to our unwillingness to engage in the development of our industries in the country, and the refusal of the government to industrialize the economy, and the distaste of our leaders to give attention to business, entrepreneurship, exports, commerce, and encouraging our population for self-employment and micro businesses to start with, and its lack of support  to assist the population to shift focus on businesses as a livelihood  alternative  affected by supply and demand of labor.

Tax incentives and less regulations to businesses specially to  small local capitals that will invite them to put up under lesser restrictions and regulations of the government are prime  incentives to make this country alive in commerce.

The government should be inclined on encouraging the people to start small businesses, and let this atmosphere  thrive everywhere for the sake of developing the economy thru local micro starters that will make people self sufficient and self-employment will reduce the incidence of unemployment in the country.

MORATORIUM

At this point, it is hard to speak about small business be encouraged in the country without speaking about the stiff laws and regulations at hand that is troubling small businessman. We admit that there are laws in the country that almost prevent small capitals to be free from mountains of fees and permits needed before anyone may start.

Moratorium then could give relax to small capitals in the country to gain  head start, that by less regulations, more tax incentives, tax cuts, tax holidays, exemptions, and among other things can make small capitals flourish for a certain time until  stability of commerce and economy is attained by the country.

President Trump of the US is a businessman and he implemented cutting of regulations, tax cuts, that made new businesses int he US thrive, and it works that's why a growth in the US is now seen about 3 percent, adverse to th epolicies of Obama of raising taxes that had killed more plants and businesses out of the US and plummet growth. Trump made the reverse of more tax cuts and cutting regulations, and the outcome is positive,

For the meantime, we need moratoriums on the sector of business, trade and commerce in order to move this economy by letting in small local capitals survive int he country. This is needed because we have not yet reached levels of our economy that will give us the luxury of imposing regulations that people will be burdened and fail the economy.

TRADE WAR

We should understand that we are in trade war everywhere.  Our deficits to almost every nation we trade with is killing our economy, and these deficits are caused by our very low key manufacturing sector.

Our dollar reserves will deplete easily if our ability to trade or export with other countries is not substantial for surplus, a trade surplus is only the answer.

If we are of trade war mentality like President Trump, there is no way our economy shall suffer because our dynamics will be always be based on figures and we do not want our numbers fall behind our trade partners.

Japan for example has all the cars dump in the country, and we do not have any Filipino cars running in Japan, and that is trade war, a trade deficit  blatantly ruining our dollar reserves.

The kind of Trump mentality is what we need int he Philippines. A Trade War mentality not Drug war so to speak. Drugs is a problem created by impoverished economy, due poverty fuels drug trade.

OUR OWN TRADE WAR

We have our own trade war.

Trade deficit is an economic war, and the situation of the Philippines against China is an economic war so to speak, because unless we resolve the inflated trade gaps with China, our foreign reserves will be wiped out in due time.

Our trade deficit is the cause of the fall of the Peso against the dollar, and the situation must be solved by our  economic managers.

China is the main source of the fall of peso to the US dollar due to we have almost 9 billion USD deficit with them. It is the country that is causing our inflation problem.

A new policy must be introduced by the government.  It is about shifting our attention and energies to multiply our GDP, and to do it is to multiply our factories or the manufacturing sector.

We must decrease regulations, and introduce tax cuts instead of employing the TRAIN law for revenue purposes.

President Trump introduced tax cuts and remove regulations for commerce and trades and made tremendous results that had economic growth rate for them today. It is proof then that raising taxes is not a good idea for revenue measures of a government, the matter is proven by Trump.

Every increment increase of the US dollar reflects to millions of dollars for our maturing loan obligations. That slight movement of exchange rate kills our economy.

We should shift our attention to manufacturing as the lead sector of the government's policies to solve inflation, trade deficits and revenue management. and not the other way around of  direct revenue from taxes. Manufacturing will boost exports that will reduce deficits and improve the Peso.

Revenue solutions should circle into GDP and not direct collections like the TRAIN law.

OUR ECONOMIC WAR

We have our own economic war to begin with.

If the country will not engage to make references of our datas with every countries we trade with, and know our condition and status regarding how we spend our foreign reserves and lose everything in deficits, then we have a big problem.

Economic war is now the norms of countries seeking security in trade and protecting their economy.

There is great competition among everyone today, that trade, exports are the marks of superiority with others. The one country is able to export and sell their products internationally,  overcome its imports by exports, and the outflows of foreign reserves are manage well, then a strong economy is present.

Economic war is the mainstream of nations at the moment. This is seen by the way China and the US are doing to each other to protect its trade, sell their products more than they buy.

so why is it important for our government to embrace the idea of economic war? It is about knowing then that everyday is a business day that our country should be wary to protect our interests and maintain a good economy.

To ensure protection, manufacturing must be brought to the fore of our policies as a priority. We should make all effort to raise the levels of our manufacturing to almost all products making them dollar earners.

We have a low record of manufacturing in the country, and technology is the reason. China has worked for years for its manufacturing to take off and become the factory of the world. The Philippines should aspire this status and bring on the situation that we should seek superiority among other nations at the point of manufacturing. Manufacturing has been the path of China for decades and at present they have reached  that line as an export economy.

The strong manufacturing condition of China cause for her to create the BRI or OBOR in order for them to make headway for their products reach abroad in many different paths, by air, land and sea. They need  OBOR in order to sustain foreign markets of their products, that in contrast will result to the loss of other countries who are weak with manufacturing. Members of OBOR  will find themselves at loss once dynamics of the this schem become operational, that later on they find for themselves this loss.

OUR OWN TRADE WAR

the meaning of Trade War between the US and China has an impact for  the country as its effects to our economy and trade.

We should learn of the situation why President Trump of the United States had brought the matter to the fore of his trade and foreign policies.

The need for issuing tariffs for their imports has something to do with protection for their economy as the main reason.

In years, the US has ignored that China had imposed tariffs to US goods entering China while the US imposed almost zero tariffs to Chinese goods imported to the US.

the wide trade deficits of US against China has been the formidable reason on the trade policies of the US where this sitting president had noticed that entirely all over the world the US has been the target of unfair trade practices of every country trading with the United States.

For awhile, we should take into consideration of the trade war of the US with China as a lesson for our trade policies also for the Philippines.

It is important also to give attention to the current condition of our trading datas with every country around the world, and learn to employ strategies that will safeguard our trade deficits with everyone.

It is about time time to take serious business about our trade conditions today as the world is in the path of accumulating wealth for their economy in order to be respected in the international community only when our economy is healthy and strong.

MANUFACTURING FOR THE COUNTRY.

Why do we need to discuss topics about economy for the country and why should we push our advocacy for better economic policies by our government at these times?

There are compelling reasons why these matters are important for our discussions today instead of being preoccupied with the drug menace in the country.

the environment of trade and commerce is the reason of setting the stage of economic attention for our government instead of political issues ahead.

We need to have advantage of our international trade where we source our foreign reserves particularly the US dollar.

Without good industrial base such as manufacturing to counter foreign imported products that drain our US dollars,  the economy will be difficult to survive.

The government must give attention to more industries that will counter or reduce importations.

It is only in broader and bigger manufacturing o f the country that we can compete and fight international trade and diminish our trade deficits and be able to have ample ability for foreign debt payments.

Instead of feeding our dollars for bigger importation, we should create more dollar earning industries in the country.

ECONOMY IS ABOUT TRADE

We are experiencing at the moment financial difficulties due to lack of revenues by the government to sustain its obligations and spendings that has now resulted to the TRAIN LAW  as hope to stay alive in the middle.

BALANCE OF PAYMENTS (BOP) STATES THE CONDITION OF THE ECONOMY

The current trade deficit of the country indicates the real condition of our financial capability as a government, and as a country. The BSP has been releasing figures lately that speaks about the situation which is are all deficits since 2016.

"The current trade deficit also factored into the Philippines' balance of payments report. According to the latest report from the Philippine Statistics Authority, the trade deficit in May was at $3.70 billion."

"For the period January-June 2018, the cumulative BOP deficit of US$3.26 billion is nearly fivefold more than the US$706 million BOP deficit recorded during the same period last year, data showed."- CNN NEW REPORT JULY 20, 2018

We see the situation as a simple plus and minus of mathematics that can be easily understood that the government should not take pain to find solution to the problem of  the economy.

Business is the law of economy for any country, it is about wealth, and nothing more. But the problem of having wealth is also a not difficult task to make, but easily can be done by simple analysis and thinking.

MORE MANUFACTURING

When we speak about our current trade deficits which is about 3.70 billion USD is actually about low exports  by the country,  we just need more exports that would mean more manufacturing to mitigate and eraze the gap.

We just do not need to equal imports by exports, we must exceed our importatons as many times possible to state wealth for the country.

ENCOURAGE BUSINESS AND TRADE

To earn more revenue for the government, the administration or with the legislation of  the congress should enact laws that would ensure local capitalism, investments and free the atmosphere of commerce in the country.

TRAIN LAW

TRAIN  law might have been a misplaced legislation of the congress because it targets to earn more revenues/taxes by the government of the same size of tax base of businesses  and commercial environment in the country.

When the goal is about more revenues, we should take the other way of increasing our tax base, of more businesses, traders, more commerce, in all multiplication of the GDP.

This is a broad way situation of finding means for revenues by not affecting its constituents, but in effect, broadening the tax base, good trade conditions that would result to more vibrant economy.

The Train law is about cutting and suffocating the air for trade and businesses that will eventually lead to the collapse, reduction, and bankruptcies due to hostile enacted laws killing trade.
