MANUFACTURING

Manufacturing is a need in the Philippines.

The government must look into the sector of manufacturing, as it is the needed sector that must be grown well in the country, as it is a generator so to speak of jobs.

Not only that, Manufacturing is a means that will increase exports and grow more the product base of the country to counter importations that protect our position in foreign reserves.

Like for example, China has taken great share of our foreign resources made by our importations of their products. Do you think if we have the same product they produce, would make us need theirs for import?

Slowly and progressively, we need to start the manufacturing sector and increase them widely to counter balance our needs of foreign products. 

It is observed that almost everything now is made in China, and by this nature, we'll need counter measures to avert the situation, and equalize them in these areas of manufacturing.

Job generation is the reason for our choice of the manufacturing sector, it is a kind of area that will solve unemployment in the country.

The record of Japan is one source to get manufacturing as the lead sector for employment. Their 1 million small companies was already staggering to know that the micro and small business sectors were the ones that had solved their labor supply surplus, and the sector that had created well their economy  for a good position globally.

China has gained much on the resources of their population, that their billion people had become the resources of their giant economy.

In the Philippines, manufacturing is the gateway to prosperity. Like those other countries that has done greatly in their industrialization, their economy have grown well by the use of this sector.

When we look at china as a powerhouse and a bully today particularly in the SCS, we cannot do anything because their wealth is great and massive, that they can afford with advanced war materials for their disposal, compared to us that has nothing.

Actually their behavior recently in the 50th ministerial meeting in Manila that they have now enough muscle to speak of and dictate the draft proposals in the sea code of conduct to be again started in November 2017. 

To attain the level of China today is through the means of going through manufacturing as the road of wealth.

Unless the Philippines will gear to the idea of manufacturing, we will never get into the condition that we cannot be persuaded easily if we have that power of great manufacturing and wealth. 

ALTERNATIVE ENERGY OF CHINA

The massive alternative energy program of China recently  is causing a stir in the US and the europe.

Aside form being the powerhouse of the world in manufacturing, they had been into engaging in these alternative sources of energy that had made this an imprint as the global leader in the world.

What is the relevance of this to the country?
The results of China's great intrusion to  alternative sources of energy, in renewable forms such a solar, is a matter of discussion for us. Before this alternative sources of energy projects today, China had been into massive splurge in manufacturing that made them the factory of the world.

Without being productive and economically powerful, this nation could not have gained these resources to put up alternative energy programs today.

If the start of China has been into the saturation of manufacturing, why not our government should the same get into the business of massive manufacturing?

What are our problems that hinders us into manufacturing is the thing that must be solved today before anything gets out of hand in our economy.

It is not enough to concentrate on OFW's, find jobs for our people abroad such as in Japan and China at the moment, but rather find everyone jobs in the country as a better solution to the problem of unemployment.

The chronic problem of our economy in our inability to provide jobs for our own people must be addressed immediately.

We'll have to provide answer to our problem inward, and not seek solutions for them abroad. Overseas working means is the last thing that must be done only, but rather, our emphasis must be internal to give jobs to our people.

The renewable energy of China is an example of greatness of this country that they had overcome the problem of their population which is over a billion people in the planet.

With their massive economy, they have sustained it with their massive population, and they turned to be very successful. The americans right now fears China with theses current situations.

The power of China

In view of the recent Ministerial meetings in of ASEAN in Manila, is filled with oblique position on to where is where.

The impasse on the position of member countries to address the situation in the SCS, its vital trade route being threatened by China, is a major concern. Seems they cannot persuade China to end the militarization of the region, and its silence to address and compel this giant nation to respect their little neighbors is a sign of weakness.

The meetings were made to assert and infuse good relations with China, but in reality, the sensitive matter of obliging them to withdraw its reclamation and turn back  to make the region safe and without tension was not resolved, and there, the meeting  was short of its objective. Yet, it is viewed as the focus is to maintain at this time coordination and stability for the region that for now, trade and economy is the emphasis at the moment for security in trading with China as the main concern where every ASEAN member  is dependent on trade with them.

In view of the situation, the dependence of every ASEAN nation in China is a sign that we should not make problems at the moment, as such matter will have due repercussions in the future. By seeing ASEAN as powerless in this stage will compel us to re-route our energies in order to be not submissive to this giant economy, and we must go back to our lab and make some thinking and mappings of our course.

If ASEAN countries have shown weakness in this meeting, to
assert the rights, mostly the Philippines which is directly affected by its EEZ, then it's time for us  to craft solutions..

The problem we are facing with China is its global position as the factory of the world. Being weak and less in manufacturing, there is no means for us to fight back but economically.We will be at loss if China will be our foe in war war and economy, this is now the dictum of the times, China.

What should we do?

The Philippines must do something in the background. Make factories to equate China, infuse more capital investments, and entice foreign investors to flourish in the country and engage in technology transfers.

Are we capable of technology? Only the dead will say so negatively.  Our distancing on the position of entertaining technology in the country has been chronic ever since in our culture, and our continued self-degrading our capabilities is now hurting our economy and security for our future. We must start with technology and manufacturing amid this result of the ministerial meeting in Manila..

Our aim is to fight back China economically because we cannot face them in the SCS with rockets and bullets, economic instead. But how?

We must make a sacrifice.
There regulations in the government  hampers investments, business, trade, and commerce in the country. Our system has become unfriendly with business, and the atmosphere has become anti-investors. The rigorous regulations and requirements for business has become very difficult for both and small businesses, and the situation has been laggard for so long, that's why our economy have lost competitiveness with other nations in the regions, and we've lost substantial opportunities in foreign investments and opportunities because of these high regulations.

We must employ data of China in imports and exports, manufacturing, global products, that would fight and equalize them in every items and products they sell globally. If we can meet their records, then there is no reason that we cannot stop their bullies. Our willingness  to surpass the data of China is only upon us, in our government that would look into the matter and implement it.

Unless we have the spirit of competing with China in manufacturing, there will be no solution to the dominance and bully we receive from them. The atmosphere and culture that we should take now is the culture of statistics, we should always be mindful of data and records of China in order to maintain the direction of defeating them economically. Unless we do this, we can never be free from the clutches of the rich nations.

DISSOLUTION OF MARRIAGE BILL

The recent bill in congress for the dissolution of marriage as filed by Alvarez is intended to solve the chronic problem of unhappiness between married couples.

The bill is hoped to be the cure to make people happy again if passed.

What is the problem in marriage, in the Family, and why is it very important at this time to enact such a law, and what are its repercussions?

The problem of unhappiness in marriage is rooted in many things that runs in the domestic experience of people. The squabbling and petty fights of couples and its differences came from many problems confronting their lives.

First, when people were married, they were happy. But along  time, when  relationship is mired by financial and domestic problems, the experience of married life becomes hard and difficult. The obligations of parties to meet its responsibilities for their children, jobs, employment, and sustenance in their needs becomes the factor of  their arguments and source of petty quarrels after their marriage ceremony.

In all, aspects of human needs are factors that makes marriage a happy one. This is the material aspect of life.

The Moral and spiritual aspect of marriage is also important even the material aspect has  flourished, and due to the availability of resources that fills the material needs of people,  the effect would result to vices and immoral behaviors, it would simply mean that nature of humanity is unsatifiable.

Humans don't have satisfaction, and by this virtue, marriage is not spared by this problem. The polygamous nature of men  as inherent is one factor, and only a few of them suffer exemption, thereby men will benefit more of this law.

Why dissolution of marriage for pursuit of happiness? We believe happiness is attainable depending on how you resolve it.

To divide family with children underneath for destruction is something  problematic, specially in the case when the state promote them, will result to enormous social problems  even more.

As today, there are so many broken families even without dissolution of marriage law, yet making them legal will skyrocket the data further, that children will suffer and result to more catastrophic scenarios of society's  problems.

Drugs, suicide, poverty, education, criminality are few of the recipients of broken families when legal dissolution of marriage takes effect.


This bill when it comes into law, will contribute more to the cycle of the problem of society we are suffering at the current, as it will be a catalyst for more.

Solution to marriage are security in jobs, employment, and greater emphasis on morality of persons.  The government should provide vigorously industries that will create livelihood to many of Filipinos that unhappiness in job environment will make them seek marriage to  make them happy. To make them long for family of their own, must become the purpose, to give them fulfillment, joy,  and happiness in life.

To make marriage as a source of joy.

In reverse situation, when jobs, incomes, and materialism can make people unhappy, marriage can become the solution.

A support for marriage must be made and enacted instead, to make them stern and fruitful for the nation's advantage.

THE ASEAN and CHINA

The ASEAN ministerial meeting recently held  in Manila hoped to address the situation particularly that of the South China Sea row.

The highlighted statement of China after the event displays ironical views that is detrimental to the stability of the region, as the route and passage of global trade passes thereon, is left in the hands of China overpowering her little neighbors.

China through its foreign minister maintains that the ASEAN must be free of outside influence of militarization particularly identifying US as an outside entity in the region.

The statement covers the exclusion of the US to exercise her role to use military assets such as her navy to cruise and move along the routes intended to secure and defend the safety of commerce passing that lane.

Correct, that in the past, there was no activity by anyone using its naval forces to guard and monitor the area as there was never a threat.

The emergence of aggressive reclamation of China in the SCS has prompted international concerns on the intentions of China of physically claiming the area and imposing her nine dash line which is unreal. That is a threat.

The international reactions and mobilization of several countries particularly the US to compel and protest China on her behavior to stop their reclamation is not her fault itself but to demand stoppage of abuse. It is normal to urge the defiant China to make the area free of threats.

Now, the recent developments that China has militarized its islands in the SCS is a growing concern to the ASEAN itself, that normally, these countries must demand that the region must be free of any threats by any countries in the region brought about by the increasing occupation of China injecting military use of their facilities.

Now, what's the point of arguing the MOU in the recent ministerial meetings in Manila?

The notion that the US is the one provoking militarization in the SCS is misplaced. China termed the US as the outside interests that militarizes the region, that to succumb to this understanding, it must be China that must reduce its activity in SCS and remove its nine dash line that grabs the EEZ of the Philippines particularly.

The other ASEAN member nations has very little concern on the nine dash line, because it is shown in the map that the entire line do not  affect most of them, it is only the Philippines.

If not of EEZ, the Philippines could have ignored this concern, but because we are directly affected by it, we exercise that demand to return our rights over it, make it on a status quo. But China is not persuaded by even the UNCLOS of the UN. We are affected economically.

So, who started the problem in the region? It is China.
That after finishing its reclamation they will  finally state that others are outsider in the region is a bully  that has been sealed in Manila.

We will look into the mechanics and features of the MOU of the ASEAN and China, its advantages and means to make the region peaceful.

Renewable Energy, Big business in China

The current positioning of China of becoming a world leader in renewable energy programs is surpassing the United States in figures today, that alone would account as the biggest in the world.

Imagine the 360 Billion USD dollar investments in renewable energy manifest a capability that when infused will create 13 million jobs in China. Such humongous consideration of prepping for the future is something extra-ordinary to learn lessons that the power of China is overtaking the US and other countries in such a magnitude.

The information tells us that it is also tripling the electric car sales in the future that would simply target the markets woldwide, that means they will have the ability to control the electric car sales globally by China.

It would also mean that the future of oil business will experience contraction and eventually  kill it by the coming years, mostly by the  2080, but with the projections seen and the current demands, it may turn out that its effects will be  by the year 2025. 

Such future planning of China will affect  all other smaller countries like us to become further dependent on the magnificent productions that this nation is doing at the moment.

As a measure, our country should formulate sources and strategies to make our economy safer and sustainable, for the sake of the  people and the country.

Unless we consider engaging massively in industrialization that would counter trade balances and for providing better  jobs for everyone, we cannot be secured with our future unless we do something about it.

If we ignore the fact that we have been very less and weak in manufacturing, then the possibility of losing our future is evident then.

Let's accept that we have been buying everything from abroad, and we no longer manufacture things that we consume domestically, and that dependence will give us dire consequences later. 

Our ignorance of not going into manufacturing is a sign that we are indolent for setting strategic solutions, long term for our economy. It is a must that we must correct now.
