ONE SILK BELT ROAD

The on-going China's  One belt Silk Road that will benefit almost half of the world's nations that will impact to more and greater growth of poor performing economies today is a foreseeable hope of tomorrow.

Such project initiated. and rallied by China is something that will challenge everyone specially the United States in terms of economic and political global domination and monopoly. It is just feared that along the way, the conduct and operation of this project currently undergoing will run to better cooperation and harmony of nations in the environment of trade, setting aside political differences remembered in history.

The situation with the Philippines is something odd, due to before any economic alliances, this country may built with China, this nation has already taken advantage of the poor and weak footing of the Philippines in the West Philippine sea with its reclamation and  territory grabbing, and ignoring the UNCLOS ruling in the SCS favoring the \Philippines. This means that the trust and confidence for friendly relations of China towards the Philippines is already colored with doubts, that the President, in its attempt to bring out the topic in his visit in China, was already violated by threatening war if the Philippines insist the UNCLOS recognition.  The meeting of the two leaders is already a sign that we are set as an under rated nation incapable of forcing China to vow with the UN body, yet, the  situation do not end there.

On our part, the One belt Silk Road is a distant matter with the Philippines, and may not be substantial to participate in it actively due to geographical conditions do not favor our side. Ours, will dictate continued bilateral trade agreements with China instead of participation.

Instead, we should encourage our manufacturing sector by the lead of government policies and guidelines that should attract and enhance local and foreign investments. We should reduce regulations on business and promote easier access of local and foreign capitals  for a period of time until surplus are met satisfactorily. One belt silk road is a dangerous condition for the country if joined, for it will result to the loss of our local jobs and closure of our factories, that will be a losing proposition for the country primarily. Even our bilateral trade relations is still not equally beneficial , due to our major exports which are agricultural produce cannot sustain and make our export levels due to our poor and non-mechanized agriculture system cannot cope with the volume or produce surplus. The rice importations alone is a negative condition that our agricultural capacity  can compete abroad, instead we will be in reversed trade against the modernized farming of China and other countries.

In all, the one belt silk road cannot be beneficial, rather bilateral agreements will sustain our condition.

The build projects of the government

The President has just did the ground breaking ceremony just this year last march 2017 for the new bridge project in Cebu City with a project cost of 27 billion pesos tagged as the Cebu-cordova link expressway.

The said project  being a toll bridge facility to be built under a private-public partnership (PPP) scheme, the project will enable the LGUs of Cebu City and Cordova to provide its constituents badly needed infrastructure with private sector funding.

We see the wide investments and  loans granted to the country by China recently, and the volume of the credit that we are favored for in tremendous magnitude is something that might make us off target in the future to make payback of  these loans and favors signed today.

The government's review of the records shows that China has now taken the spot as the country's biggest trading partner today,  and makes the point that such fast paced and trade and investment loans from China might imperil our ability to settle foreign obligations in the future and may result adversely to the national interest of our people.

Trusting our leaders, we believe that the current administration have enough wit and will not to undergo into an agreement without basis of our capability to meet up obligations in the future, it is still in their judgement, all investments and loans are  viable in return to our financial abilities.

The only question remains if all those trade investments and agreements will not be faltered along the course of implementation, and cleanly realized its returns.

Pessimistic as it seems, the value of 53 billion USD loans on top of our old  and pending foreign obligations  will create a stir in our economy once returns of investments fails.

The Weakening Peso

The topic of a weakening peso is not a desirable environment that does need to be hidden and justify it in order to look and tell everyone that it is alright, and there's nothing to fear about. , but rather, the fast explanation of a defeated currency if not abated is readily seen in the Venezuelan crisis which is on-going at the moment.

By the rise of foreign overseas  Filipinos, and discovering its potential for gaining foreign  reserves, we have shifted attention to spur growth in manufacturing into sending more of our people for jobs abroad and leaving this sector at its own will to grow.

All industries matters for a rich economy

Though we seek the best for the country, it is important that all corners of industries shall be attended and assisted by the government through incentives, promotion and lessening regulations that would spur growth in them.

Manufacturing must grow in the Philippines, where in this area we are found as be very weak, in terms of  our capability to produce for the world, and rightly considered uncompetitive  compared with our neighbors and counterparts in the region. That instead of growth, we have experienced decrease in the period of June 2017 of only 11.87 billion, compared in the same period last year of 12.12 billion USD in 2016,

It is  found that we are low in high technology products in the country where the bulk of our  imports goes to transport and machinery products, telecommunication and specialized equipment, where the inequality has been found ever since. More so, upon seeing these deficiencies in our local manufacturing, the government should introduce catalyst and primers to initialize the industry of machinery and transport that would would reverse the situation in trade.

Our importation of capital equipment must have shown us already means to open the sector and gain progressively parts and machinery in the country.

ASEAN got cold with China

In review of the recent statement of the  DFA regarding our position on handling the situation with China for the possible moves of the  ASEAN regarding this matter. The interpretation can mainly be  viewed as irregular than expected with respect to the illegal acts of China in its claims in the south China Sea.

Primarily, the actions of China should be put in question instead by the ASEAN due to her actions of taking  possession and  ownership of the entire China Sea, is primarily illegal, contrary and destructive to parties involved with better right.  China has militarized all the zones in her self-claimed nine dash line  that has affected navigation and fishing of countries who has legal access.

If there are topics for discussion of the ten member countries about China, it must be about its loss in the Hague Tribunal ruling. It's island building, militarization and forbidding others to fish in the region where it is rightfully  theirs as declared by Hague ruling favoring the Philippines, and similarly for others.

The surprising event today is that our officials seems  not to know that  there was  island reclamation undergoing committed by China today, which was disputed as false information issued after the statement. As a government, the intelligence  gathering level about China's reclamation in the area should be first hand to them before issuance's of statements so as to become direct and  accurate on the mater.

Better, we should ask for the unity of the ASEAN member countries to stand against the bully and claims of china over the china sea and respect the Hague ruling. that is to become agent in international community to put everything in order and in compliance of the law.

Peso touches P51 level against dollar

The falling Peso to the dollar is something abnormal to observe, as it has already breach the level of P51 to the dollar can be seen as hard to recover in the future, as indicators to avert the rate to its former before the entry of the new administration that was only P44, have not improved.

The P5 increment is difficult to retake to put the peso in its former rate before the election.

The rise of the dollar is a sign that we have grown in imports that had put pressure on the Peso, while if the situation is reversed, of greater exports than imports the dollar will fall.

But due to the fact that we are not robust in exports, the situation will not return to  the old rate prior the entry of the new administration.

The ill effects of the higher dollar rate is our ability to comply obligations with our foreign loans, that instead of savings and reduction of debt servicing, we end up paying more of the value of the loans more than we had expected.

Complemented by the administration's new programs of free tuition fees, higher pension rates, free government hospitals, among others cannot meet the financial ability of the government to fulfill such new orders. Thus, the increasing dollar may affect the financial capability of the government to settle its foreign obligations and services to the people.

Taxing more is not an option, as it will only injure the tax paying masses and will not give proportion for our GDP.

Manufacturing and Exports are areas in our economy that was neglected by the government for many years. The increased importation is a reflection that manufacturing is low in the country, and there are so many products and items that we do not produce for counter trade. We should increase exports massively to provide employment and reduce the dollar increase, thereby reducing inflation of the country.

Just after the Ministerial meeting of the ASEAN, the more that the Philippines has defended China, presumably to appease or gain more investments and loans in the future.

What is the reason behind our Foreign Minister to say more that china has already stopped sea reclamations, and such stoppage gives China the image of a good guy?  All are forgotten that China has already finished their island building and frontally say to the press that she has not anymore build any additional.

But lies cannot escape reality. It is still lbuilding more reclamations and still, they will make more contrary to the statements given to the media recently.

What is more confusing is the support given by the Philippines covering the information and collaborating the cover up with China.

How dead are we with China?
That recently also after the ministerial meeting in Manila,  we solemnly told the US , Australia, and Japan to keep out of the sea row because they are not claimants of the South China Sea, which is a misplaced statement of our own government.

The US, Aistralia, and Japan are parties using the sea lane in trade ever since, and they are legal parties in the area because they use them, and among others globally, it is used by every nations. All are legal parties, besides the nine dash line of China was dismissed in Hague arbitration tribunal of the UN. The prty of China is the same questionable.

The only surprising matter is the appetite and voluntarism of our leaders to support China in every place and situation.

They already have forgotten that China has already stolen our sovereignty, and our ineptness to demand our rights and urge China to Respect the decision in the in the ASEAN must have been highlighted

We don't know how politics shape the minds of our intellectuals, as they pretend to be genius of whatsoever, just to appease someone, or satisfy another.

It is like a joke so to speak that our leaders succumb to the interests of the powerful and the wealthy, just to gain something a little in stature and career undermining the interest of the people and the constitution they serve.

Whatever trade and economic benefits we have with our China relations today, is just temporary and not perpetual, that in reality there are no benefits at all. we have sold ourselves by the exchange of our sovereignty in the west Philippine sea.

The forthcoming  billions of dollars we receive from China are loans that will be payable after a period of time. There is no dole outs and gifts from them, they will  all be paid back someday, and our natural resources in the SCS after that is gone!

Our ineptitude shines in the international community, I'm sorry to say but, our intellectuals have turned against our own sovereignty in exchange of nothing. the loans and investments are to be returned with interests, that someday the unborn generation will pay them all.

By keeping the United States Australia and Japan out of the business of the China sea row is a sign that we will suffer the consequences of our actions once things get sour with China over our rights of  drilling oil and food supply in the EEZ.

In any proportion, it is difficult to see how the assessment of our leaders that things would be advantageous if our allies are kept outside of the COC for
drafting by the ASEAN. hope they are right about their decision.

To boast trade and investment relations with China is nothing practically, due to  by ratio and proportion,  our counter trade represents negligible and incomparable quantity with them, that in sum, is not winnable.

In any perspective, our diminutive economic strength  cannot overcome the inflows of China, that before we gain in  business, we had already spent and lost everything to them. How is that? We are not a manufacturing country compared their size and technology.

The Sea row  

In shutting US ,Australia and Japan outside of the sea row is wrong. They are the party in the South China Sea, due to they use the sea lane regularly for trade and commerce, it does not belong to the ASEAN and China alone, it belongs to the world.  That by marking them as third parties and outsiders  not to be involved in the drafting of  COC, because they are not claimants in the area, is wrong.

The nine dash  line of China is dismissed in Hague, that it has no basis, therfore the credibility of China to be in the party of Drafting the sea code of conduct is the same questionable as the US, Australia, and Japan they deem as third parties  or outsiders.

Furthering  to injure our democratic allies since in the past before China is shameful. Forging relations and be affect by our political and democratic ideals is the same misplaced due to we should promote democracy and liberty internationally as espoused by our democratic constitution. the human rights violations of China is contrary to our democratic ideals, that to conjure with their undemocratic influence is contrary with our mission.

What is going in the region is a proof that the Philippines must never abandon its claim in the territory for the sake of future and security.

The massive sea reclamation of China is illegal and has no basis as ruled by the Hague ruling.

The recent ministerial meetings of the ASEAN has defrauded the member nations where it has led to the notion to condone the illegal occupation of China in the region, as it has not directed its attention to urge China to leave its claims of the nine dash line.

Car industry is the biggest component on the economy of Japan ever since, and this industry is contributory to the birth of self-reliant military modernization of Japan due to their military industry is home grown made by the automotive industry.

In the same manner that the Philippines should start vigorously car manufacturing in the Philippines, making our own Filipino brand cars and trucks. Due to the dwindling resources of China to support its growth and industries, they are now finding  other sources of wealth in the region found in the south China sea.

The revelation that the area is rich in oil reserves, and as the biggest in the world,  tempted them to comprise the area to their ownership under false assumption.

At many times, it is observed that most of our people are fun of gossiping and scandal stories flooding the internet, specially as seen on facebook, and some are more inclined to read articles and stories, movies, dramas and telenovelas that are fed in our media, and televisions, and the media itself is perpetrating the proliferation of these materials which are far from contributing development and progress for the country.

Just maybe our media is just profit oriented, and they cater subject matters that are just where bigger audience are found. We cannot blame them because it is business.

The point here is, when can we place a time where  people may crave to become technology, and intellectually savvy populace?  If such condition of our people entertain and become inquisitive of new things, research and developments feed in by the media, then, a sign of progress can be reckoned. The quality of minds will mean a moving path where the government and its people will become one in its mission to make our society rise and move for the goal we need to prosperity.

Education

Education is a factor in the first place. Unless we do not infuse learning in our people, specially on young ones today, there will never be an achievement for this purpose, it will only remain a dream unfulfilled. Education is one factor in our governance that should be maintained and upgraded regularly. It must be supported with materials from facilities to books, its locations, density to communities must become the priority of all. We should bring new generation which are qualified and capable globally.

We bring education as a forefront of governance due to our community is infected with vices and immorality today. Many illegal settlers are breeding ground of crimes and immorality, and this is due to the loss of education of them.

At the moment, there are segment of our community that can't be treated with education, that is why the emphasis on the youth is so significant, a seeming investment of time.

Criminality, drug related problems is traceable to lack of education of our people, at least, a percentage of them  are not judgemental of what is good for their lives confronted by difficult situations in life.  Though there are contributory factors in criminality and immorality in our society, education is one of that that will be treated by our government. Others are jobs, family, and environment that are among the causes of the social problems of our people.

Media as an Educator

Media today represents the biggest share of educating our people. The feeds and the quality of   presentations and programmings can affect the opinions and perspective of people. Media can deprive or distort  the populace on the real events and situations int he country.

If media can dwell on the productive side that would contribute to the economic condition of the country, it is well and good. One observation seen on our regular people don't like to open discovery channel, National Geographic, or \History channel, they are more inclined to watch telenovelas in GMA and ABS CBN, which has nothing to do with giving more knowledge for anything productive for our people. It is even observed at time that there were FM stations today that daily basis they read worthless letters, sometimes sexist, and promote promiscuity that we don't know if just fabricated intentionally. that these are new developments in the media today that does nothing to give and contribute to the progress of our country.

We should acquire appetite for industry that will contribute each little one to the productivity of this nation. Everyone has the capability of initiating small business and productivity that will soon create industry.

What could be the best solution to the problem  if the Philippines continue to insist its rights on the EEZ?

The far reaching lines of China's claims over the WPS is an issue of depriving the sovereignty and the rights of the Philippines to enjoy the richness and vastness of resources in the SCS. 

The natural oil reserves found underneath just off the coast of Palawan is an opportunity for the country to prosper economically from oils that will be harvested, but if our rights and sovereignty over it is maintained, asserted, and used now for our own advantage and welfare, there could be tremendous lift for our economy. 

China is overpowering the country by maintaining the nine dash lines drawn far reaching it shores, that the UNCLOS  has ruled recently in favor for the Philippines.

Will we go to war with China if we insist our rights?

We can't believe the answer to the question as real, due to the fact that China cannot do it in shame.

The Philippines is a small and peaceful country,  that whatever reason that she may invade the country is a shame in the international community at all.

Nothing in the real world that our allies, such as the US, Australia, Japan, and South Korea are countries that will not come to aid for the Philippines?

The UN is looking and observing the situation, that in the event it may happen, it will not sit silently and do nothing about it by the effect of the UNCLOS ruling.

None may believe in this scenario, but China as a bully country will not be permitted by our democratic neighbors to commit such act.

The sea conduct alone as proposed over the sea lane routing Japan and Korea are reasons that they will not allow such to strict them in their passage.

The continuance of  our assertion over the China sea dispute should remain as it is, and must not be abandoned by our leaders today.

After the Hague tribunal ruling where the Philippines have won over China, the uncertainty of the future becomes bleak for the country, and our food source which is in the SCS, is now put in danger.

We have been complaining of difficulty in fishing in our rich territorial waters before the result of the ruling, yet after, and the entrance of the new administration, reversed the position of the government towards our claims in the the EEZ.

War:

War with China is not an  excuse over the dispute in the region, but the reality of urging China to comply and respect the tribunal ruling is the main issue of all. We can continue trade with China because they need us with or without the UNCLOS ruling. Trade is another matter, and things will be just normal if our assertion remains, not to be disregarded.

The expose' of the president before when he visited China about the threat of war is not the reason for the 100 million Filipino to disregard our rights in the SCS, of our EEZ given by the Hague ruling, but as far as we are concerned, we should have kept  and maintained our stance.

The threat of War by China if we insist in it is nothing but a joke  to see if really we are serious of our rights. If we answer "yes" to China about our insistence, there is nothing that they can do, it is for the record of insistence. The next step of using the EEZ will depend on the situation based on the international support and clamor of other countries, specially with help of the UN, they cannot deny our rights.

The foreign policy of the current government towards China is something that will have an adverse impact in the future and security of our country.

Once we tolerate from the beginning the actuation's of China, then later on, t much more difficulty will rise in the future due to our inadequacy to assert our rights. The more we are going to lose.

The uncertainty of the future is really the problem of today, as is it until when our government shall change its stand and claim our rights in the EEZ. the food supply, which is fishing in the area will be felt later on, and no longer that we can send our fishermen in the Scarborough shoals.

JOBS

The on-going situation in the country of OFW phenomenon is unabated. 

The condition and the plight of our people seeking better lives abroad cannot be stopped, due to there is no alternative domestically available jobs and better salary opportunities in that regard.

But jobs is a subject matter needed to be addressed by the government, and it is the most critical of all the programs that any government should do, the highest of all priorities. We saw many efforts were made in the past, but currently, we know of new things made thereon, and undergoing remedies and policies are being tried, tested, and enforced to create and generate them massively.

How to give jobs to the millions of Filipinos today?This question goes to the subject matter of how high is the level of our economy? Our ability to provide or give jobs to every unemployed is a matter of concern at the moment, if we have enough and matured industries that would support employment or kill unemployment.

The status and condition of our industries such as the sector of manufacturing is the first of all priority in the government.

Many would find it difficult to understand the necessity of manufacturing that would solve unemployment in the country, and still many of us don;t mind either this topic, and maybe many more do not understand it.

The example of China is awesome. 
Its status as the Factory of the World is amazing, as it has already overcome Japan, Europe, and next, the United States as the world's biggest economy. It will the the world leader in economy that Yuan will replace the dollar in the near future.

If China can do it, why not the Philippines?
China has a billion population, and their industries has already absorbed the their own labor force, they are now comfortably using them for their own use and advantage.

The China phenomenon is a proof that population is not a case, it even proved that population is a wonderful thing for a nation, because jobs and industries blend together.

Why can;t we see the case of China? If we are willing only to look at the case of this new superpower, there would be no reason that poverty and weakness of our country can happen.

PH rebuked by US, Australia, Japan on sea dispute ruling

This is the first time that the Philippines has received a rebuke from its allies, the US, Australia, and Japan to defend and urge China to abide by the ruling it had won last year.

This thing is a reminder that we, as a sovereign nation duly recognized in the UNCLOS, a UN tribunal ruling  must in itself demand China to recognize the world body in that respect.

Unless we urge China to remind her to respect the decision recently, we will not gain respect either from the eyes of China with this behavior.

The rebuke is a reminder also that the Philippines is an ally of these countries in case anything harm is done to us by China. That none in the real world, that all other countries will not turn support for the Philippines if we do the right thing under the court of law.

The foreign policy of the current administration is  disadvantageous to the country and to the next generation of Filipinos. We have already deprived them of their future and because this government has already ceded them to the Chinese, our generation must be ashamed of ourselves.

We live and operate by  the law, and internationally, we should give that law a LIFE. Unless we take and enforce our rights over the WPS, the UN body which is the source of  our rights, will held us in contempt for not asserting it purposely for the sake of the UN body. That by next time, if we file similar case, who will believe? 

We are already a weakling in the ASEAN region, and we still allow that status and poverty of our country in the internatonal audience get advanced.  

Admitted that China is a superpower, but let's show that she cannot be more powerful than UN, and our stand today is that we are walking away with our obligation as part of the body regarded for a member nation.

MANUFACTURING

Manufacturing is a need in the Philippines.

The government must look into the sector of manufacturing, as it is the needed sector that must be grown well in the country, as it is a generator so to speak of jobs.

Not only that, Manufacturing is a means that will increase exports and grow more the product base of the country to counter importations that protect our position in foreign reserves.

Like for example, China has taken great share of our foreign resources made by our importations of their products. Do you think if we have the same product they produce, would make us need theirs for import?

Slowly and progressively, we need to start the manufacturing sector and increase them widely to counter balance our needs of foreign products. 

It is observed that almost everything now is made in China, and by this nature, we'll need counter measures to avert the situation, and equalize them in these areas of manufacturing.

Job generation is the reason for our choice of the manufacturing sector, it is a kind of area that will solve unemployment in the country.

The record of Japan is one source to get manufacturing as the lead sector for employment. Their 1 million small companies was already staggering to know that the micro and small business sectors were the ones that had solved their labor supply surplus, and the sector that had created well their economy  for a good position globally.

China has gained much on the resources of their population, that their billion people had become the resources of their giant economy.

In the Philippines, manufacturing is the gateway to prosperity. Like those other countries that has done greatly in their industrialization, their economy have grown well by the use of this sector.

When we look at china as a powerhouse and a bully today particularly in the SCS, we cannot do anything because their wealth is great and massive, that they can afford with advanced war materials for their disposal, compared to us that has nothing.

Actually their behavior recently in the 50th ministerial meeting in Manila that they have now enough muscle to speak of and dictate the draft proposals in the sea code of conduct to be again started in November 2017. 

To attain the level of China today is through the means of going through manufacturing as the road of wealth.

Unless the Philippines will gear to the idea of manufacturing, we will never get into the condition that we cannot be persuaded easily if we have that power of great manufacturing and wealth. 

ALTERNATIVE ENERGY OF CHINA

The massive alternative energy program of China recently  is causing a stir in the US and the europe.

Aside form being the powerhouse of the world in manufacturing, they had been into engaging in these alternative sources of energy that had made this an imprint as the global leader in the world.

What is the relevance of this to the country?
The results of China's great intrusion to  alternative sources of energy, in renewable forms such a solar, is a matter of discussion for us. Before this alternative sources of energy projects today, China had been into massive splurge in manufacturing that made them the factory of the world.

Without being productive and economically powerful, this nation could not have gained these resources to put up alternative energy programs today.

If the start of China has been into the saturation of manufacturing, why not our government should the same get into the business of massive manufacturing?

What are our problems that hinders us into manufacturing is the thing that must be solved today before anything gets out of hand in our economy.

It is not enough to concentrate on OFW's, find jobs for our people abroad such as in Japan and China at the moment, but rather find everyone jobs in the country as a better solution to the problem of unemployment.

The chronic problem of our economy in our inability to provide jobs for our own people must be addressed immediately.

We'll have to provide answer to our problem inward, and not seek solutions for them abroad. Overseas working means is the last thing that must be done only, but rather, our emphasis must be internal to give jobs to our people.

The renewable energy of China is an example of greatness of this country that they had overcome the problem of their population which is over a billion people in the planet.

With their massive economy, they have sustained it with their massive population, and they turned to be very successful. The americans right now fears China with theses current situations.

The power of China

In view of the recent Ministerial meetings in of ASEAN in Manila, is filled with oblique position on to where is where.

The impasse on the position of member countries to address the situation in the SCS, its vital trade route being threatened by China, is a major concern. Seems they cannot persuade China to end the militarization of the region, and its silence to address and compel this giant nation to respect their little neighbors is a sign of weakness.

The meetings were made to assert and infuse good relations with China, but in reality, the sensitive matter of obliging them to withdraw its reclamation and turn back  to make the region safe and without tension was not resolved, and there, the meeting  was short of its objective. Yet, it is viewed as the focus is to maintain at this time coordination and stability for the region that for now, trade and economy is the emphasis at the moment for security in trading with China as the main concern where every ASEAN member  is dependent on trade with them.

In view of the situation, the dependence of every ASEAN nation in China is a sign that we should not make problems at the moment, as such matter will have due repercussions in the future. By seeing ASEAN as powerless in this stage will compel us to re-route our energies in order to be not submissive to this giant economy, and we must go back to our lab and make some thinking and mappings of our course.

If ASEAN countries have shown weakness in this meeting, to
assert the rights, mostly the Philippines which is directly affected by its EEZ, then it's time for us  to craft solutions..

The problem we are facing with China is its global position as the factory of the world. Being weak and less in manufacturing, there is no means for us to fight back but economically.We will be at loss if China will be our foe in war war and economy, this is now the dictum of the times, China.

What should we do?

The Philippines must do something in the background. Make factories to equate China, infuse more capital investments, and entice foreign investors to flourish in the country and engage in technology transfers.

Are we capable of technology? Only the dead will say so negatively.  Our distancing on the position of entertaining technology in the country has been chronic ever since in our culture, and our continued self-degrading our capabilities is now hurting our economy and security for our future. We must start with technology and manufacturing amid this result of the ministerial meeting in Manila..

Our aim is to fight back China economically because we cannot face them in the SCS with rockets and bullets, economic instead. But how?

We must make a sacrifice.
There regulations in the government  hampers investments, business, trade, and commerce in the country. Our system has become unfriendly with business, and the atmosphere has become anti-investors. The rigorous regulations and requirements for business has become very difficult for both and small businesses, and the situation has been laggard for so long, that's why our economy have lost competitiveness with other nations in the regions, and we've lost substantial opportunities in foreign investments and opportunities because of these high regulations.

We must employ data of China in imports and exports, manufacturing, global products, that would fight and equalize them in every items and products they sell globally. If we can meet their records, then there is no reason that we cannot stop their bullies. Our willingness  to surpass the data of China is only upon us, in our government that would look into the matter and implement it.

Unless we have the spirit of competing with China in manufacturing, there will be no solution to the dominance and bully we receive from them. The atmosphere and culture that we should take now is the culture of statistics, we should always be mindful of data and records of China in order to maintain the direction of defeating them economically. Unless we do this, we can never be free from the clutches of the rich nations.

DISSOLUTION OF MARRIAGE BILL

The recent bill in congress for the dissolution of marriage as filed by Alvarez is intended to solve the chronic problem of unhappiness between married couples.

The bill is hoped to be the cure to make people happy again if passed.

What is the problem in marriage, in the Family, and why is it very important at this time to enact such a law, and what are its repercussions?

The problem of unhappiness in marriage is rooted in many things that runs in the domestic experience of people. The squabbling and petty fights of couples and its differences came from many problems confronting their lives.

First, when people were married, they were happy. But along  time, when  relationship is mired by financial and domestic problems, the experience of married life becomes hard and difficult. The obligations of parties to meet its responsibilities for their children, jobs, employment, and sustenance in their needs becomes the factor of  their arguments and source of petty quarrels after their marriage ceremony.

In all, aspects of human needs are factors that makes marriage a happy one. This is the material aspect of life.

The Moral and spiritual aspect of marriage is also important even the material aspect has  flourished, and due to the availability of resources that fills the material needs of people,  the effect would result to vices and immoral behaviors, it would simply mean that nature of humanity is unsatifiable.

Humans don't have satisfaction, and by this virtue, marriage is not spared by this problem. The polygamous nature of men  as inherent is one factor, and only a few of them suffer exemption, thereby men will benefit more of this law.

Why dissolution of marriage for pursuit of happiness? We believe happiness is attainable depending on how you resolve it.

To divide family with children underneath for destruction is something  problematic, specially in the case when the state promote them, will result to enormous social problems  even more.

As today, there are so many broken families even without dissolution of marriage law, yet making them legal will skyrocket the data further, that children will suffer and result to more catastrophic scenarios of society's  problems.

Drugs, suicide, poverty, education, criminality are few of the recipients of broken families when legal dissolution of marriage takes effect.


This bill when it comes into law, will contribute more to the cycle of the problem of society we are suffering at the current, as it will be a catalyst for more.

Solution to marriage are security in jobs, employment, and greater emphasis on morality of persons.  The government should provide vigorously industries that will create livelihood to many of Filipinos that unhappiness in job environment will make them seek marriage to  make them happy. To make them long for family of their own, must become the purpose, to give them fulfillment, joy,  and happiness in life.

To make marriage as a source of joy.

In reverse situation, when jobs, incomes, and materialism can make people unhappy, marriage can become the solution.

A support for marriage must be made and enacted instead, to make them stern and fruitful for the nation's advantage.

THE ASEAN and CHINA

The ASEAN ministerial meeting recently held  in Manila hoped to address the situation particularly that of the South China Sea row.

The highlighted statement of China after the event displays ironical views that is detrimental to the stability of the region, as the route and passage of global trade passes thereon, is left in the hands of China overpowering her little neighbors.

China through its foreign minister maintains that the ASEAN must be free of outside influence of militarization particularly identifying US as an outside entity in the region.

The statement covers the exclusion of the US to exercise her role to use military assets such as her navy to cruise and move along the routes intended to secure and defend the safety of commerce passing that lane.

Correct, that in the past, there was no activity by anyone using its naval forces to guard and monitor the area as there was never a threat.

The emergence of aggressive reclamation of China in the SCS has prompted international concerns on the intentions of China of physically claiming the area and imposing her nine dash line which is unreal. That is a threat.

The international reactions and mobilization of several countries particularly the US to compel and protest China on her behavior to stop their reclamation is not her fault itself but to demand stoppage of abuse. It is normal to urge the defiant China to make the area free of threats.

Now, the recent developments that China has militarized its islands in the SCS is a growing concern to the ASEAN itself, that normally, these countries must demand that the region must be free of any threats by any countries in the region brought about by the increasing occupation of China injecting military use of their facilities.

Now, what's the point of arguing the MOU in the recent ministerial meetings in Manila?

The notion that the US is the one provoking militarization in the SCS is misplaced. China termed the US as the outside interests that militarizes the region, that to succumb to this understanding, it must be China that must reduce its activity in SCS and remove its nine dash line that grabs the EEZ of the Philippines particularly.

The other ASEAN member nations has very little concern on the nine dash line, because it is shown in the map that the entire line do not  affect most of them, it is only the Philippines.

If not of EEZ, the Philippines could have ignored this concern, but because we are directly affected by it, we exercise that demand to return our rights over it, make it on a status quo. But China is not persuaded by even the UNCLOS of the UN. We are affected economically.

So, who started the problem in the region? It is China.
That after finishing its reclamation they will  finally state that others are outsider in the region is a bully  that has been sealed in Manila.

We will look into the mechanics and features of the MOU of the ASEAN and China, its advantages and means to make the region peaceful.
