THE UN TRIBUNAL RULING

Dec. 18, 2017

The UN tribunal ruling is a gain for the country to assert our claims for the Philippine waters which is in the region of the China Sea, which is also our fishing grounds and the source for building our economy.

The recent situation where a UN Naval under water drone was seized by the Chinese naval vessel located just 50 miles off of Subic bay is a sign that we are being abused of our own territory. the reason why they are there at that distance must be questioned.

The location is in the international waters, and the acts of China is an indicator that somewhere in the near future we can be further violated and deprived of our sovereignty .

The recent statement of d30 is another thing to be feared of, where if that statement that we will set aside the UN ruling, and we will not protest such incursions, the future will then be  risky for us.  The situation will turn someday  that these waters will permanently belong to them, and our rights for enjoying the resources of these rich fishing grounds will no longer be entitled for us.

There should be formality and words of opposition and protest  and bring the matter further to the UN attention.

Though we do not seek confrontation and conflict, we need to establish the ground that we should send words to China and post complaint in the UN, which is the right thing to do.

Another thing that should be taken focus and attention by the government is the continued assertion of our country to go fishing in those grounds and maintain our presence.

to bring forth coast guard vessels there is just routine and standard for our government instead of letting the situation be under the control of the Chinese Vessels.

Though we don't seek war, our presence shall be that constant to make them aware and informed that we are not forsaking the territory, but continually posses them for the benefit of our fishermen.

Another is the continued build up of our naval industries and manufacturing to increase our ships to make a routine surveillance 24/7 made by our increasing numbers of naval ships.

The shipbuilding industry must be modernized and used fo the advantage of our navyt and the military. We cannot be present there in the WPS if we only 10 naval ships at the moment.

The jobs, employment, foreign savings, and increasing of our GDP and per capita income is the object of creating a strong shipbuilding industry in the country.

Shipbuildng a Need

This is piece of blog is about a glance on the condition of shipbuilding industry of Indonesia, our neighboring country in the Asean region where, its economy and political status is nearly in semblance with that of our country, the Philippines.

The reason why we need to look at the situation of their shipping industry is due to that recently we have ordered a naval ship from them that gives us a chilling reaction why then we support buying and helping the economy of Indonesia instead of ours.

This becomes the contention to look and check back our own condition with regards to our shipbuilding industry in the country on where shall we start and build our own.

This article is copy paste here and for reading, justLINK here

We should the same activate our national shipbuilding industry in order to sustain our maritime defese  ;protection under it if we will build and expand this sector.

Singapore which is just a very small country is taking a lead in the maritime shipbuilding capabilities. We should not only ignore this situation but rather join in the fray to put ourselves in this industry the soonest to cope  with the conditions in the west Philippine sea and protecting our marine resources within the 7,100 islands of the country.

Indonesia ranks as the world's most densely populated archipelagic nation with about a quarter billion people settled across some 17,000 islands. Shipbuilding in Indonesia dates back to the 1600s when the Konjo tribe, mostly residents of South Sulawesi, were known for building the phinisi, a two-mast wooden sailing boat that was a common sight throughout South-east Asia's colonial history.

President Jokowi found himself working against the clock to catch up when he spelt out his vision during his October 2014 inauguration speech of re-inventing Indonesia as an international maritime power.

: "God created Indonesia as an archipelago and it is God's will that Indonesia will develop into a maritime nation."

The same that this country , which is an archipelago, must find solution to the geographical conditions and become one strong maritime nation.

Some 35 newbuild vessel contracts that were due for award in 2015 have spilled over to 2016 and contracts for another 50-60 more will be tendered out in 2016. Altogether Seacom will commission the construction of up to 95 harbour craft in 2016.

Condoms for K12

Super Pilipinas December 7, 2016

The plan of the Dep Ed to distribute condoms for the grade 11 students is somewhat  confusing, for the intent needed has this two way effect.

First we do not know what will be the outcome of this program that it may affect the behaviors of the who will be experimenting the thing, and in turn get addicted in some ways about sex in their very young or tender age.

It is like a gamble on what will come out in reality. For sure the young people are very fragile and eager to experiment on new things in their lives, that specially when it comes to the fact that sex is a new thing for them, then this will turn out to be at their young bodies to be addicted to it, sex.

AIDS

The rising data of Aids in the country is the main reason why the government is intending to distribute condoms to the grade 11 students and up. But the data on aids will never come down or will sink due to Aids is an epidemic matter, the data is of a multiplying effect , it will never stabilize because the problem is sex, a behavior difficult to control for humans, it is natural.

The data on pregnancy teenagers is also not the basis. These pregnancies are proportionate to population growth and the data trend will not stabilize or wither. Using these datas is tantamount of fooling the public and representations is illogical.

Just like drugs. The data on drugs never waned so far even though EJKs are blatant everywhere, or the human trafficking, is still rising even though measures are implemented against it.

Because population is growing, the data will keep on growing. If we are going to look into the 1950's, the pregnancy rates or datas were just small due to a small population of the country, and of course the religiosity of the people in those times makes a count.

So, we cannot use the data that it is ballooning or growing using the basis of the times.

RELIGIOSITY

This factor shall be considered. Once people are god fearing, teenage pregnancies will stabilize or wane in its rates. The religiosity of the people is a factor that must be looked into instead of directly solving the problem by distributing condoms without knowing the effect tomorrow. Though this area is the most difficult of all at these times, we cannot count religiosity of the people that will counter the problem immediately will get effect. Religiosity is a thing hard to be relied as a sound solution these days.

Mal effect

The thinking that condoms will save teenage pregnancies cannot be a guarantee, still teenage pregnancies in no manner increment or increase uncontrollably. The next thing of condoms distribution is the increasing of the abortion facilities that will anticipate these effects of habitual sexuality made by condoms. This is a fact upon the advent of condoms to teenagers.

Destroyed lives

More lives will be destroyed brought about by this condomneering of the government. Broken lives among teenagers and families as an effect.

Hard times ahead

Super Pilipinas December 6, 2016

The inflation rate is coming by 2.5 %, and yet there is no sound policy to address the situation and fight back this rising cost of living for the Filipinos.

The oil prices are going up and it will go further higher in few days. The effects of the weakening peso against the dollar is the cause of the  rising inflation and the higher cost of fuel ahead.

The expected rise in the crude oil in the international market is another factor of the increasing oil prices in the country.

The  components of international oil prices and the dollar exchange rate increase are major factors and indicators for the direction of  our economy. The rate of inflation of 2.5 percent is now gripping the lives of our people, and therefore immediate actions shall be taken.

Imports and Exports

This thing  of our export and import trade balances shall be monitored and resolved if there are increments of the two. If we have active export industry, then the effect to the dollar is an strengthening of the Peso, and vice versa if imports are greater, then the weakening of the Peso.

Export is very important for our economy.

If we have a robust manufacturing sector which is more geared for exports, then we can state that we have a competent Philippine economy due to the reason that we are intelligent enough to consider that manufacturing is the key to a healthy economy.

Why we need to boost manufacturing? The simple effect of manufacturing is an indicator that we are an industrialized country. We can call ourselves to be an industrialized nation if we have a  very thick  manufacturing companies that produces products of all kinds  to simple ones.

What we are seeing now is that we have a very low GDP compared with our neighboring countries, and our per Capita GDP is very far behind.

Malaysia has 10,500 USD per Capita GDP compared with ours to 2,700 USD GDP per capita. This comparison must take into account introduction of new strategies in our economic policies as to target a higher GDP for the country and aim to overtake Malaysia as an example.

The United States has 53,000 USD GDP per capita. These figures will make us visualize the solution to the problem, wherein we shall commit ourselves to more seeking industrialization as the key to higher GDP's.

If we are going to remain under the spell of drug menace in the country, we shall change and put first the situation of solving the inflation rate which is now defeating our economy.

It will be difficult to live in a country with an accelerated inflation rate, we must avoid such thing to occur here.

The rising international oil prices is a fearsome factor to see for our future as livable country, and  if we are not going to do something about the increasing dollar rate now,  this future is inevitable to happen.

If we are going to put down the oil prices in the country or maintain it at a lower level, or at a lower rate though there are increments in the prices of oil in the international market, then the best thing to do is to push down the dollar in order to maintain lower prices of gasoline per liter in the country.

Push Down the Dollar

To push down the dollar is to limit our importations. The situation in dealing with limiting our imports  the country is very difficult but not hard to solve. We cannot limit our imports just easily, but the counter measure to it is to counter produce those materials and products that we import.

Produce them locally.

By producing locally, the reduction of imports will occur and give effect to less dollar demands. This reduction of importation is through the means of manufacturing, making more factories all around the country.

Enhanced Armed Forces

Super Pilipinas  December 5, 2016

The situation of our military must be addressed.  The current hardwares that we have must be upgraded, and the reason for the AFP modernization program is very immediate that the capability of our military is apt to answer the call at anytime against all kinds of threats.

Indigenous Technology

One big consideration for the government to to look upon and take full attention thereto is the situation of our indigenous technology available and the moment, and for its further development and studies. The contribution it will bring for the use and  harness of the local technology is enormous, as it will bring multi-lateral effects for our economy.

New development by our local research must be given attention and regard, as our local talents, its promotion will enhance the technological level of this country, as well as given them support, will serve as the foundation of pure filipino technology in the future.

Our dependence on foreign imports for our military hard wares is draining our fiscal matters, and the foreign reserves that we need more to support our economy is then pressured, whereby  the resort to local technology and manufacturing must be started and accelerated immediately to cope with the needs of our military and the savings it will bring under our national budget.

Manufacturing

Manufacturing is the biggest game changer for the country, as its effects on the economy and the enhancement of our local technology that put to practice and test, gives our capability to be sustainable in the future.

The intention to be self-reliant shall be our main attention and focus by infusing local talents, through research funded local and abroad. All start up must be initiated and acted immediately to realize this dream, because if not, we will remain to be bullied by our neighbors and foreign aggressors we now experience under the situation  in the west Philippine sea.

By having enough materials for our navy, air force and technologies developed, we will be able to attend and confront with ease every situation and threats in our sovereignty.

Foreign Reserves

Our financial concern is the topmost of all in seeing our economy grow, but with the continued dependence on foreign acquisitions for our military which is in billions of pesos, we will end up bankrupt if we will not resort to local manufacturing and improting new technologies for our local designs for the armed forces.

The dollars we have can maintain our economy by not using them more in foreign military purchases in dollars.  By engaging in local industries and further research, we cannot save our foreign reserves by which we have spent so much in previous administrations.

Employment

Local manufacturing will bring in more employment for the country. By buying foreign naval ships abroad, like in Korea, is like giving them employment, while we  suffer where to put our local labor force here, and much more, we push our skilled masters seek employment abroad because of  lack job opportunities at home.

By buying more military trucks from South Korea in millions of dollars is like killing our own economy, and giving the SK, their livelihood and income.

Our local car industry has been actually zero up to the current, and by way of resolving the situation is by making this industry come alive through procurement of the government these military trucks via our local fabricators and manufacturers, thus, giving ourselves employment for our own people

The polarization on the economy by this car manufacturing industry is immense in the sense that all other support industries will pop up made by the micro enterprises it will be created by this sector.

New Level of Terrorism

Super Pilipinas Dec. 5, 2016

The Maute group is claiming to be the ISIS brand in the Philippines and it's implications to the stability of the peace and order situation is creating an impact.  The image of the country is being tarnished and ruined more by this new terrorist group whereby the efforts of the government to serve the people for giving them better life opportunities is getting out of hand in that area.

The province of Lanao where this little town is infested by this terrorist group is already hard up, and the addition of this terrorism complicates more the lives of the people whereto the government must radically bring government services and opportunities to the region in order to eliminate the threat and vaporize terrorism through better living conditions and opportunities must be available for them.

Security in the region through
advance military hardwares

One aspect  to control the situation and provide security throughout is by the means and methods for the armed forces to be of high end capability. We must use all available technology in the military to attain control and superiority against potential terrorists.
The use of new and advance military hardwares is not new, it is just a spirit of enthusiasm on the part our governance to provide and use these technologies already available both  local and
abroad.

Advanced intelligence, that it must be the top priority in hunting unseen enemies posed by terrorism threat. Funding must be allocated and thereby a collective study via science must be employed immediately in resolving the Maute or ISIS situation in the mindanao region.

Also, greater attention to more laboratory and sciences for military must be given attention for the solution against rebels and terrorism in the region. We must have continued and greater emphasis on higher discoveries and experiments in finding solutions to these terrorism problem in the country.

Logistics and Equipments

It  is an accepted fact that logistics and military equipment for war of our AFP is very low key, and therefore the situation must be addressed properly to quantify further the assets of the government to get greater coverage of controlling this war on terrorism.

Our tanks, APCs, and fire arms , as well as the rocketry and missile systems in the country is not yet advance or mature in our defense and war capabilities. We are still dependent on cannons and artillery which are becoming least in the advantage on war engagements. The notion is that we must improve and crave for greater science and technology gained through indigenous or foreign means.

The development of local and indigenous technology mus be attended due to we are a low budgeted military, and the only recourse is to harness local talents and technologies to advance our capabilities and save foreign reserves that  therein protect our economy while in the situation.

Our Sick Manufacturing Industry

Super Pilipinas Nov. 27, 2016

Manufacturing is one aspect of the country that should be given  real focus by the government towards to meet our aim for progress.

The manufacturing sector accounts to about one fourth of the industries in the country, and since it is a major player for our exports, this must be revitalized and strengthened in order to further the goals we dream.

The labor sector is abundant in the country, and since this class of the populace needed particular attention to meet the demands for employment, the national government must create an atmosphere that will make it conducive to make local and foreign investors create more manufacturing areas to absorb this abundance of labor in the country.

The current political condition in the country wrecks havoc to the business climate as this factor is the gauging factor of commerce to make it suitable for the business sector to engage with certainty. This lack of stability in the political condition of the country will result to the downfall of the industry and result to the slowing of the economy. Thus, the needed attention is very much important to be given for the manufacturing sector as immediately possible.

The issue remains if we are competitive
in the manufacturing sector compared with China.

With regards to our China Sea row, it is accepted that we cannot fight China via military confrontation and we should modernize our armed forces in order to face them in the battle line.

But this is not our aim, we dream to fight China head on by the way we conventionally think, or, utmost, we will face them in battle if all options are lost. So, therefore, the only way to do it is to buy time which we shall industrialize our country and acquire the level of economy and wealth like that of China, then, by these means we can have the financial capabilities to spend for the modernization of the armed forces.

This wealth is to have our economy grow by means of greater income through exports and all industries reaching the global and international markets. One area then that we should expand rapidly is the manufacturing sector which we are very weak at the moment.

If China has export volume of 2.4 trillion dollars, record met at 2015, then the possibility of having that record for us is not far to reach out. We should take the culture of positive outlook that the same we can acquire all the successes of China or anyone else equally for the country, for the Filipinos.

If they have 2.3 trillion dollars of exports, so can we. The question if we are competitive against China is possible. It will take only few legislation in order to equally par that of China by meeting the requirements via our political and economic long term policies in the country to make investors, local and abroad rely on the certainty of business future here.  Ther are plenty of aspect to be threshed about, like the labor laws, government rules and regulations, taxes, and other anti business codes and regulations that retard the growth and atmosphere of commerce in the country.

The specialized zones shall be areas where these conditions are favorable with the intentions to equal the conditions as given by China to their foreign investments.

Comparative volumes of exports of Vietnam  17 billion USD, while the Philippines is only 5.7 billion USD in 2015, totally explains why we need to take care and solve our manufacturing conditions for exports. What is surprising here is that we are already overtaken by Vietnam considered as a third world country ravaged by war up to 1975.

Our manufacturing sector and export producing industry is really sick, and we need to resuscitate this sector as soon as possible. We are three folds left behind by Vietnam, and
and way behind 540 times against China.

The Specialized Zones as remedy for the
Manufacturing Sector

The specialized zones in the country must be  real specialized zones. The confronting problems of the business sector at the current is the stiff government regulations imposed to businesses, high taxes, and the labor laws which scares investors and local business men. Not including on top is the wariness on the political condition of the country.

The specialized zones must cancel these bureaucracies, red tape and government regulations, among others that cannot make realize our dream to become an industrialized country.

These specialized zones shall be free zones. They shall be an environment in such a way that both the government and businesses can earn and survive weathering factors in business and economy in the international and global conditions.

These zones must safeguard the wellness and productivity of the sector and gear to become the highest and most active in the region.

Manufacturing base

Super Pilipinas Nov. 25, 2016

The manufacturing base of the country should be increased, as we have aplenty of products, techonology yet untapped by our local and foreign investors whom are not yet engaging in the manufacturing of those products viable for exports.

The condition of the country's economy is dependent of  the capability of the manufacturing sector to produce and counter the trade deficit of the country everywhere.

The current situation of our manufacturing sector is very much behind to date compared with our neighboring industrialized countries. This condition must be addressed immediately to defend our economy against inflation and other dangerous factors that will make this country suffer gravely if we will not attend to the plight of this sector that is viewed to be a counter balance on trade deficits with our advanced neighbors.

The manufacturing base is determined today as not comparable with other countries in the region as the investments among locals and foreign is very low.

The savior to our economy is a robust manufacturing sector.  The government itself must attend, promote, assist more the industries in the country specially the  manufacturing as the potent leader of it.

Comparative analysis shall be the basis of any study in particular to determine the ills and symptoms of the economy which  leads us to the sector of the manufacturing.

Trade deficits alone is the key to discover this symptom. Our trade imbalance with China, Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, among others in the region is a sign enough to easily find the cure or the counter measures to be taken instead of going or acquiring high profile studies to determine solutions to our our low economic condition.

If we are willing  to accept that we are losers in the trading exchanges of any certain country for example like China, will automatically create in us a solution direct or indirect to balance our economy through trading with that particular country. This alone is a simple act to make measures to solve economic problems.

One example is Japan.
We have been importing all cars, trucks, machinery from this country that therefore it shall creep into our minds that such situation shall be checked why such thing occur in our practice to let this country dominate and dictate our economy through their automotive industry.  There are no Filipino Cars, or trucks ramming out streets and highways, all oif them Japanese brands. By this condition, the amount of billions of dollars every year from our foreign reserves goes to Japan, and this country is laughing at us because our saved dollars are hacked at this scheme actually.

We hardly find and save foreign reserves to continually exist in the international trade, and keep afloat our economy through it. With the current set up of our Industry that we do not until now create an automotive industry of four own, we will remain a hostage of Japan, siphoning our dollars and foreign reserves for their benefit and use.

We have been focusing of pushing our countrymen to go and work abroad as OFWs. just ot earn that dollars for our economy, tagged as the "Mga Bagong Bayani", yet,
the real situation to finding more dollars is self sustaining actually by the form and formula of the manufacturing sector. We don't have to go far across overseas just to find and collect those dollars needed at home, yet spend them, or give them to the Japanese?

The same now that is happening with the current situation in our relation with China. Trump has been very vocal of this that china is killing the American economy due to their manufacturing sectors, a great portion of their industry is now lost to China.

Read about the article

This thinking and objective to concentrate on the manufacturing sector must be the top priority of the government before things gets out of hand. It must be known that the reality is this, that unless we do not go serious about increasing our manufacturing base in the country, the poverty condition of our people will remain.

Chinese Smartphones

Super Pilipinas  NOV. 24, 10`6

The smartphone industry is one of the biggest in the world, and the trends are enormously on the side of China.

There are variety of brands popping up in the market today from the Chinese manufacturers, and the names of the  western world that had become weak made by the advent of these Chinese phone makers.

The Samsung, Iphone, Windows among others are being dwarfed by the volumes of productions made and exported by china. This alone is one aspect that the US economy cannot overcome and protect their interests about jobs and economy with the effect of the chinese aggressive business actions.

Can the Philippines  become a major player in the manufacturing
of smartphones globally?

The idea to become a player in this industry is possible. Our willingness to engage and be part of the industry and be known is highly probable. We have at the moment Filipino brands that are taking the role on this position. Only, a government intervention to assist the branding and ensuring presence in the market, identify and solve their problems  to  dominate in the field is one that is lacking.

Chinese brands are known and getting popular, but with the aggressive promotion of the government, assisting them in every facets of the industry to put the local brands maintain them to be  strong is that part very much needed by our local businesses.

The involvement and partnership of the government in every industry in the country must be present specially in the sector of manufacturing. To provide solutions and collaborate on the areas needed to be explored and make strong imprint of our name shall be themed.

The government must have a parental culture of protecting and safeguarding our industries and exert means to penetrate overseas market  and make control.

The situation is not all the time be left out to the capabilities and resources of the private sector, it must be the job of the government to secure stability of all industries in the country.
A balance and a partnership shall be the atmosphere.

The global thinking

This generation is about globalization. Though the private sectors or private initiatives are factors of our growing economy, these sections of our nationhood shall be nurtured and amplified to the fullest for the nation's advantage.

Globalization must be the norm in the current, and it must remain in the core of our commerce. Every single and little product must be enriched and made into global market. The parochial mentality is negative and backward, it must be a globalized mindset that will extend productivity and revenues for the country.

The China phenomenon is a model. It has been successful because of less government's regulations and with the culture of curiosity that rocketed their economy.
If we are seeing products all made in China in the country and globally, is because
of the attitude and culture of its people and the government that bind into an effective chemistry.

WEEK LONG NUMBER CODING

Super Pilipinas Nov. 23, 2016

This traffic problem in the country is a sign of a growing economy, only, the solution to the problem is the problem itself.

As accepted that the growing population of cars in the country is a sign of progress, the sign of progress in the government is not ever present to confront this problem.

THE DEDUCTIVE SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM

Instead of assisting the growing economy, and putting more gasoline into the fire (economy), the government goes backward of attending or giving solution to it. The number coding itself of monday to friday by stopping vehicles to run in the streets from 7 am to 8 pm currently is already damaging the economy.

The losses it incur during those down times of stopped logistics are enormous to the economy. I cannot calculate it myself the quantity in billions of pesos these losses are incurred by the deductive number codings solution.

The approach of deductive solution to these problems are unimaginable for we never see the prospects of advancing the economy by freeing the streets of number codings, thus  when translated to economic point of view, wherein the disregard of losses to the economy is sidelined or set aside always.

The failure to get the higher perspective or conceive the understanding that logistics plays a vital role in moving our economy fast and accelerated, must be the theme and top priority of the government.

Interestingly, we found no other solution presented to protect logistics of economy by avoiding implementations of number codings for cars and trucks. Always, the fastest suggestion and solution provided everyday are counter measures, a negative outlook for all situations.

FORWARD AND ADVANCE SOLUTION
TO THE TRAFFIC PROBLEM

If we are greatly concern about poverty, and improving our economy, then the solution to it is let the populace do their jobs. Let everyone move around, accomplish what they can in a day without delays.

The dictum: What you can do today, don't do it tomorow is a forward and advanced looking attitude concerning progress. Thus, the notion to let everyone reach point a to b as soon as today is a completion of a transaction, job, and a guarantee that production and business are finalized and closed speedily made by the mobility of people and goods.

As suggested here, the traffic problem can be resolved with a simple management of the handful of roads that we have today. Though adding more roads, viaducts, fly overs, tunnels, underground and elevated highways are still in the drawing boards, the solution to it are simple adjustments and  management of our  road arteries without losing or giving number codings.

The set of roads we have right now can be assigned for u-turns, one ways, elimination of left turns, and proper assignments of cars and trucks via their designated roads and arteries to reach their destinations without imposition of bans.

This writer cannot discuss fully the suggestions for traffic solution, but the idea is possible for the sake of  healthy and vibrant economy.

This writer cannot discuss fully the suggestions for traffic solution, but the idea is possible for the sake of  healthy and vibrant economy.

STATE OF SHIPBUILDING

Super Pilipinas Nov. 23, 2016

We are categorized as the fourth largest shipbuilder in the world, and this is amazing.

The question is, can we feel it?

In order to experience by ourselves that we ranked as the fourth largest in the world,  something must be felt, its effect to our domestic economy and shall witness the maritime capability of this country.

The state and condition of our maritime transportation and view of the shipping companies producing them shall trickle down to the advantage for our domestic consumption of ships, that is, domestically.

At the current, we are seeing passenger ships in the country as bought and imported by local shipping companies from abroad. Most of them obtained in second hand or used condition.

Foreign Investments.

It is South Korea and China as the biggest shipbuilders/company in the Philippines that comprise this ranking of the country as the fourth largest in the world, without them, we are none.

In this view, this claim is hollow due to the merit is given by foreign investors and foreign shipbuilders who are here on a part time basis (investor). They will boot out someday.

The concern here is to solidify the conclusion that we are genuinely the fourth largest shipbuilders in the world, that is, to create the atmosphere that we local Filipinos re the ones building ships for the world.

Let's capitalize the current situation and put up counterparts or local firms in shipbuilding business and increasingly be noticed to be the actual shipbuilders (filipino made) in the country.

What we are doing here is supplying skilled labor for these foreign firms and this is one indicator that we are capable and skilled enough to venture in shipbuilding by our own.

The technology problem is the only lacking in this industry. But taking into account the China model of copying, hacking, and stealing technological advances from the west is not far to do because our skilled parts of labor can take them with their photographic memory as they are there in the workplace, in the shipyards. Not a difficult task for a Pinoy James Bond.

The issue here is whether we intend
to become the Lord of shipbuilders in
the world. and dominate the global
industry of shipbuilding.

Well, this issue depends on our willingness  to become such in the industry. What we find at the current is our insincerity in the business is unforgiving  by letting foreigners dominate the world  of shipbuilding at our expense.

We ignore the possibility of taking them into our hands the technology and built shipbuilding business in the country by our own brand. Ultimately dominate the world, become a Super Pilipinas.

The advantage of an independent shipbuilding industry is limitless. Progressively we must shore our selves by engaging local businessmen into this industry until we master the technology and the industry by our own.

The issue is whether we are willing
to take the position of using local
shipbuilding to our advantage and
built naval ships of our own, unlimited,
24/7?

We see the problem in the west Philippine sea that we cannot defend our maritime sovereignty, that therefore provides this proposition of harnessing the power of our local shipbuilding capabilities to convert them into more naval ships patrolling our waters is an advanced idea. If we can attain sufficiency in shipbuilding alone, this problem of lacking navy patrols and our coast guards can be met easily with a healthy shipbuilding industry.

Why look and source outside if we have this local shipbuilding industry here? we have been dependent from Japan, the US, the South Korea of giving us retired naval ships for our naval entourage in the country when we just look at the state of our shipbuilding industry here?

With stable industry, we can make every kind of ship models and of limitless numbers using this industry advantage.
