Manufacturing base

Super Pilipinas Nov. 25, 2016

The manufacturing base of the country should be increased, as we have aplenty of products, techonology yet untapped by our local and foreign investors whom are not yet engaging in the manufacturing of those products viable for exports.

The condition of the country's economy is dependent of  the capability of the manufacturing sector to produce and counter the trade deficit of the country everywhere.

The current situation of our manufacturing sector is very much behind to date compared with our neighboring industrialized countries. This condition must be addressed immediately to defend our economy against inflation and other dangerous factors that will make this country suffer gravely if we will not attend to the plight of this sector that is viewed to be a counter balance on trade deficits with our advanced neighbors.

The manufacturing base is determined today as not comparable with other countries in the region as the investments among locals and foreign is very low.

The savior to our economy is a robust manufacturing sector.  The government itself must attend, promote, assist more the industries in the country specially the  manufacturing as the potent leader of it.

Comparative analysis shall be the basis of any study in particular to determine the ills and symptoms of the economy which  leads us to the sector of the manufacturing.

Trade deficits alone is the key to discover this symptom. Our trade imbalance with China, Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, among others in the region is a sign enough to easily find the cure or the counter measures to be taken instead of going or acquiring high profile studies to determine solutions to our our low economic condition.

If we are willing  to accept that we are losers in the trading exchanges of any certain country for example like China, will automatically create in us a solution direct or indirect to balance our economy through trading with that particular country. This alone is a simple act to make measures to solve economic problems.

One example is Japan.
We have been importing all cars, trucks, machinery from this country that therefore it shall creep into our minds that such situation shall be checked why such thing occur in our practice to let this country dominate and dictate our economy through their automotive industry.  There are no Filipino Cars, or trucks ramming out streets and highways, all oif them Japanese brands. By this condition, the amount of billions of dollars every year from our foreign reserves goes to Japan, and this country is laughing at us because our saved dollars are hacked at this scheme actually.

We hardly find and save foreign reserves to continually exist in the international trade, and keep afloat our economy through it. With the current set up of our Industry that we do not until now create an automotive industry of four own, we will remain a hostage of Japan, siphoning our dollars and foreign reserves for their benefit and use.

We have been focusing of pushing our countrymen to go and work abroad as OFWs. just ot earn that dollars for our economy, tagged as the "Mga Bagong Bayani", yet,
the real situation to finding more dollars is self sustaining actually by the form and formula of the manufacturing sector. We don't have to go far across overseas just to find and collect those dollars needed at home, yet spend them, or give them to the Japanese?

The same now that is happening with the current situation in our relation with China. Trump has been very vocal of this that china is killing the American economy due to their manufacturing sectors, a great portion of their industry is now lost to China.

Read about the article

This thinking and objective to concentrate on the manufacturing sector must be the top priority of the government before things gets out of hand. It must be known that the reality is this, that unless we do not go serious about increasing our manufacturing base in the country, the poverty condition of our people will remain.

Chinese Smartphones

Super Pilipinas  NOV. 24, 10`6

The smartphone industry is one of the biggest in the world, and the trends are enormously on the side of China.

There are variety of brands popping up in the market today from the Chinese manufacturers, and the names of the  western world that had become weak made by the advent of these Chinese phone makers.

The Samsung, Iphone, Windows among others are being dwarfed by the volumes of productions made and exported by china. This alone is one aspect that the US economy cannot overcome and protect their interests about jobs and economy with the effect of the chinese aggressive business actions.

Can the Philippines  become a major player in the manufacturing
of smartphones globally?

The idea to become a player in this industry is possible. Our willingness to engage and be part of the industry and be known is highly probable. We have at the moment Filipino brands that are taking the role on this position. Only, a government intervention to assist the branding and ensuring presence in the market, identify and solve their problems  to  dominate in the field is one that is lacking.

Chinese brands are known and getting popular, but with the aggressive promotion of the government, assisting them in every facets of the industry to put the local brands maintain them to be  strong is that part very much needed by our local businesses.

The involvement and partnership of the government in every industry in the country must be present specially in the sector of manufacturing. To provide solutions and collaborate on the areas needed to be explored and make strong imprint of our name shall be themed.

The government must have a parental culture of protecting and safeguarding our industries and exert means to penetrate overseas market  and make control.

The situation is not all the time be left out to the capabilities and resources of the private sector, it must be the job of the government to secure stability of all industries in the country.
A balance and a partnership shall be the atmosphere.

The global thinking

This generation is about globalization. Though the private sectors or private initiatives are factors of our growing economy, these sections of our nationhood shall be nurtured and amplified to the fullest for the nation's advantage.

Globalization must be the norm in the current, and it must remain in the core of our commerce. Every single and little product must be enriched and made into global market. The parochial mentality is negative and backward, it must be a globalized mindset that will extend productivity and revenues for the country.

The China phenomenon is a model. It has been successful because of less government's regulations and with the culture of curiosity that rocketed their economy.
If we are seeing products all made in China in the country and globally, is because
of the attitude and culture of its people and the government that bind into an effective chemistry.

WEEK LONG NUMBER CODING

Super Pilipinas Nov. 23, 2016

This traffic problem in the country is a sign of a growing economy, only, the solution to the problem is the problem itself.

As accepted that the growing population of cars in the country is a sign of progress, the sign of progress in the government is not ever present to confront this problem.

THE DEDUCTIVE SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM

Instead of assisting the growing economy, and putting more gasoline into the fire (economy), the government goes backward of attending or giving solution to it. The number coding itself of monday to friday by stopping vehicles to run in the streets from 7 am to 8 pm currently is already damaging the economy.

The losses it incur during those down times of stopped logistics are enormous to the economy. I cannot calculate it myself the quantity in billions of pesos these losses are incurred by the deductive number codings solution.

The approach of deductive solution to these problems are unimaginable for we never see the prospects of advancing the economy by freeing the streets of number codings, thus  when translated to economic point of view, wherein the disregard of losses to the economy is sidelined or set aside always.

The failure to get the higher perspective or conceive the understanding that logistics plays a vital role in moving our economy fast and accelerated, must be the theme and top priority of the government.

Interestingly, we found no other solution presented to protect logistics of economy by avoiding implementations of number codings for cars and trucks. Always, the fastest suggestion and solution provided everyday are counter measures, a negative outlook for all situations.

FORWARD AND ADVANCE SOLUTION
TO THE TRAFFIC PROBLEM

If we are greatly concern about poverty, and improving our economy, then the solution to it is let the populace do their jobs. Let everyone move around, accomplish what they can in a day without delays.

The dictum: What you can do today, don't do it tomorow is a forward and advanced looking attitude concerning progress. Thus, the notion to let everyone reach point a to b as soon as today is a completion of a transaction, job, and a guarantee that production and business are finalized and closed speedily made by the mobility of people and goods.

As suggested here, the traffic problem can be resolved with a simple management of the handful of roads that we have today. Though adding more roads, viaducts, fly overs, tunnels, underground and elevated highways are still in the drawing boards, the solution to it are simple adjustments and  management of our  road arteries without losing or giving number codings.

The set of roads we have right now can be assigned for u-turns, one ways, elimination of left turns, and proper assignments of cars and trucks via their designated roads and arteries to reach their destinations without imposition of bans.

This writer cannot discuss fully the suggestions for traffic solution, but the idea is possible for the sake of  healthy and vibrant economy.

STATE OF SHIPBUILDING

Super Pilipinas Nov. 23, 2016

We are categorized as the fourth largest shipbuilder in the world, and this is amazing.

The question is, can we feel it?

In order to experience by ourselves that we ranked as the fourth largest in the world,  something must be felt, its effect to our domestic economy and shall witness the maritime capability of this country.

The state and condition of our maritime transportation and view of the shipping companies producing them shall trickle down to the advantage for our domestic consumption of ships, that is, domestically.

At the current, we are seeing passenger ships in the country as bought and imported by local shipping companies from abroad. Most of them obtained in second hand or used condition.

Foreign Investments.

It is South Korea and China as the biggest shipbuilders/company in the Philippines that comprise this ranking of the country as the fourth largest in the world, without them, we are none.

In this view, this claim is hollow due to the merit is given by foreign investors and foreign shipbuilders who are here on a part time basis (investor). They will boot out someday.

The concern here is to solidify the conclusion that we are genuinely the fourth largest shipbuilders in the world, that is, to create the atmosphere that we local Filipinos re the ones building ships for the world.

Let's capitalize the current situation and put up counterparts or local firms in shipbuilding business and increasingly be noticed to be the actual shipbuilders (filipino made) in the country.

What we are doing here is supplying skilled labor for these foreign firms and this is one indicator that we are capable and skilled enough to venture in shipbuilding by our own.

The technology problem is the only lacking in this industry. But taking into account the China model of copying, hacking, and stealing technological advances from the west is not far to do because our skilled parts of labor can take them with their photographic memory as they are there in the workplace, in the shipyards. Not a difficult task for a Pinoy James Bond.

The issue here is whether we intend
to become the Lord of shipbuilders in
the world. and dominate the global
industry of shipbuilding.

Well, this issue depends on our willingness  to become such in the industry. What we find at the current is our insincerity in the business is unforgiving  by letting foreigners dominate the world  of shipbuilding at our expense.

We ignore the possibility of taking them into our hands the technology and built shipbuilding business in the country by our own brand. Ultimately dominate the world, become a Super Pilipinas.

The advantage of an independent shipbuilding industry is limitless. Progressively we must shore our selves by engaging local businessmen into this industry until we master the technology and the industry by our own.

The issue is whether we are willing
to take the position of using local
shipbuilding to our advantage and
built naval ships of our own, unlimited,
24/7?

We see the problem in the west Philippine sea that we cannot defend our maritime sovereignty, that therefore provides this proposition of harnessing the power of our local shipbuilding capabilities to convert them into more naval ships patrolling our waters is an advanced idea. If we can attain sufficiency in shipbuilding alone, this problem of lacking navy patrols and our coast guards can be met easily with a healthy shipbuilding industry.

Why look and source outside if we have this local shipbuilding industry here? we have been dependent from Japan, the US, the South Korea of giving us retired naval ships for our naval entourage in the country when we just look at the state of our shipbuilding industry here?

With stable industry, we can make every kind of ship models and of limitless numbers using this industry advantage.

The China Way

Super Pilipinas Nov. 23, 2016

This piece of information that China is showcasing its new stealth fighter, the J20 is something that the other major powers in the world must be cautioned.

The new developments of this superior jet technology from China is alarming to the all, as this nation is now a major player for the new world order as its economy is becoming the largest of all.

The success of china in this aspect is one that we should study about. If the Japanese have done it, so did now the Chinese are achieving it.

To reflect on these events that is happening in China is something that we must think about, study, research, and discover our potentials to become one in stature like them. What they have done or achieved in their history is the same and open for us.

I am posting this piece of article of J20 because this aircraft is highly advanced in technology and tons of questions pop up why they were able to have acquired that technology out of nothing, referring to their history.  Their culture of hacking and stealing technology from the west id not actually a culture to be called, they acquired it for some sake or reasons for their country. Admitted, and known for many years that their appetite to become an economic superpower was obvious, they had been relentless in pursuing the goal, and it all paid off today.

Their goal and dreams for technology and great economy is a model, though their ways are not the standard of things, the means gave them the results they wanted.

Whether the issue of using this model as
a means to make the Philippines big in
business and economy is the right path
to take.

I believe Yes, and in some case No.  The desire for a greater economy for the country is the utmost important because our aim is to acquire wealth for us and bring better lives for our people is the summit of our governance. The means to attain this growth condition is becoming remote under  standard manner at this time, that the conditions now dictate an extra means of actions as necessary, but  not advisable in our settings because we are bounded by laws where we are committed internationally. These are obstacles and hindrances in accelerating our growth, but these issues can be resolved using the Chinese formula secretly.

Many will  disagree with this sentiment, but the method  were proven to be beneficial and fail-proof. We cannot dispute this process due to it is given and demonstrated  by the China occurrence.

Chinese espionage, hacking, and technology stealing is an extrajudicial actions of the Chinese but, but this dirty tactics paid off and  the J20 Jet rewarded them.

The real issue is not about military
technology but economic. Is it viable
for our country to exert means
to  go into manufacturing just like
the China way?

Looking at today, there is no other means to make this economic growth for the country by not adopting the China way, as they certainly produce results. Manufacturing is the economic base of China, industrialization is made by the manufacturing sector. The china way is a model in the sense that all obstacles and hindrances shall be set aside for the goal of the country.

The China model can be adopted and refined for our use. There are many factors and aspects to be considered, but to make a rapid change and accelerated means of growing our economy is now seen in this model. There are things or parts of China model that are not appropriately conducive in our situation. We will of course make a better version of it, more efficient and humane.

INFRASTRUCTURE SEASON

SUPER PILIPINAS
Nov. 4, 2016

This infrastructure projects lined up is a great indicator of going forward.

I hope the current administration will push this projects neede by this country for long now.

The development of the countryside is the prime mover for progress as its modernization will enhance the capability and potentials of the provincial areas to become a powerhouse of our economy.

It will mean the spread up and distribution of demographics and decongestant to the central and capital region of Manila.

Once in few years these projects are finished, the distribution of wealth and economy will spread in the entire country as these logistics prepared for by the government will make the private sector to mobilize and act, progress then is accelerated.

TESTING THE WATERS?

SUPER PILILPINAS
 Nov. 4, 2016

After awhile, we have been silent with our rights in the panatag shoal or the scarboruough shoal in the east of Luzon.

After our winning in the UNCLOS, we have not asserted greatly that win to enjoy our rights  on the natural resources that we ought to have that was guarded by the Chinese naval boats and prevented our fishermen to fish the area.

This is the first move that we are doing to test the waters amidst our fresh relation with China. It is like trying our hand if we are capable or not or believe  the words of china after that visit of President Duterte just recently.

I hope that the patrolling of our navy ships there will seal for good our rights over it, and  China will keep its words to let the Philippines enjoy its rights.

Confrontations? I hope china will respect our ships there, but if not, will make the situation show that we are really not respected as a country with the sovereign rights over the area of economic zone for us.

We do not know what is going to happen by these attempt and actions of our government, that it will really make a meaning on the recent visit of Duterte to china if such talks are real for them.
